Historia
The Oracle has Seen the end of Civilization, and the end of the Haosa, too. Reactions to this are—mixed. On the one hand, foresight is a notoriously erratic Gift. On the other, can Civilization—or the Haosa—afford to assume that the prophecy is an error? And if the Oracle has Seen truly—is it possible to alter the future?

Placeholder in overall series
Revisado: 04-11-25
I had hoped this entry in the series would focus on Padi auditing the new loop with interesting adventures involving the relic of clan Korval but instead we are mired in brain numbing minutiae plot points and tedious dialog surrounding Colomeno’s boring, slowly evolving social structure between the civilized, uncivilized and deaf populations of the planet. Plus the idiotic “heart friends” subplot between Padi and Telekia. Wtf? Every single scene with Shan is same old, same old. And cookies. And guzzling wine. And a reworking of the dept of the interior mold to acquire villains who oppose change.
This is a filler book to end all filler books. Considering the sad loss of Steve Miller last year, I really hope Diviners Bow is not the end of the series, that would be a huge pity.
Eileen Stevens as always delivers a solid performance but she’s not able to drag this plodding plot into the light.

Historia
Sci-fi's favorite antisocial AI is back on a mission. The case against the too-big-to-fail GrayCris Corporation is floundering, and more importantly, authorities are beginning to ask more questions about where Dr. Mensah's SecUnit is. And Murderbot would rather those questions went away. For good. Martha Wells' Rogue Protocol is the third in the Murderbot Diaries series, starring a humanlike android who keeps getting sucked back into adventure after adventure, though it just wants to be left alone, away from humanity and small talk.

The best so far!
Revisado: 08-11-18
I love the Murderbot series. Each entry in the series has replaced the other as my favorite book/audio of the year in all genres. The length is perfect to tell the story, develop the character and NOT pack in a lot of backstory filler that kills my interest in most series books. Kevin R. Free's interpretation as narrator is masterful. I can't get over how much I like his delivery of Murderbot' ironic self commentary, humor and insecurities and CARING. I've listened to the audio of the entire series back to back about 5 times and with each listening I get more from the story and the narration. Five stars for Martha Wells and five stars for Kevin R. Free.

Historia
Six years ago, Noah Wheeler went to meet his boyfriend, Dante Cerreto, at the airport, and his world ended. Dante was kissing someone else and claimed to be in love. So Noah took his heartbreak and closed the door on the big picture of what he thought his life would be, focusing instead on the piece of the dream he got to keep, being a father. Six years later, Dante wants to make up for lost time, but he's going to have to take a crash course in communication and seduction. Noah's not going to fall in love just to be broken again.

Big misunderstanding
Revisado: 07-07-17
Mary Calmes has written some M/M romances that are in my top 20 for the genre if not my top 10. Unfortunately the short "Again" doesn't make the list at all The entire plot is based on a misunderstanding so implausible that I never got past it. And the characterization of the MC Dante was repellent. Russo does a fair job with the narration considering the poor material he had to work with.
