Good quick read
Revisado: 01-01-25
I enjoyed the book although the plot was a tad upsetting. But points out some toxic patterns in people.

Learned a lot about Vietnam war
Revisado: 01-01-25
While I really like the backdrop of this book and I really enjoyed learning about the Vietnam war and how it impacted people, the main character was not the most endearing and her decisions were frustrating. Her parents the worst. And plot far fetched. But again well worth the read for the education.

Historia
Justin has a curse, and thanks to a Reddit thread, it's now all over the internet. Every woman he dates goes on to find their soul mate the second they break up. When a woman slides into his DMs with the same problem, they come up with a plan: They'll date each other and break up. Their curses will cancel each other’s out, and they’ll both go on to find the love of their lives. It’s a bonkers idea… and it just might work.

Ok.

Took me a long time to get through but decent. A little slow at first and it felt like it was a little redundant too but very well-written.

Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

The performances made this story even better!
Revisado: 02-22-15
Each of the performers made this book probably much better than if I read it myself.
Story was good.
I was sympathetic for the main character and Meghan.
Really disliked Anna.
Hoped for a better ending.
But I guess it was somewhat realistic.
