I liked the story and the female narrator but the male narrator was trying to hard to make the character come off as hard. I think the way the story was written the extra the male narrator was doing was unnecessary. Cannon was written to just naturally be that guy.

The First Book Was Great

As I stated in my review of the book in Kindle I loved the first book bu Monica Walters. As always she delivered however I still cannot get in to the second book. I just could not get into the second book. I have tried reading it and listening but it still not for me. I could not listen past Chapter 17 which was the epilogue for the first book. The narrator's were also pretty monotone.
