Couldn’t stop listening!!
Revisado: 12-27-17
I’ll admit I’m a fan of the band from the first listen of their music until forever. This is one man’s version and I believe Robbie’s every word. And although there are several personalities involved this is the one we are hearing. His passion and love of his band mates shines through. I loved this book .... a thoroughly enjoyable listen.

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

You need not be a sci-fi fan to enjoy this book. Andy Weir is an amazing writer and the beautiful reading of Rosario Dawson is beyond compare! I wanted the story to go on forever.

Historia
A River Runs Through It is a universal story of family love and a lyrical masterpiece, as beautiful as the great trout rivers of western Montana upon which it is set. Its beauty is especially evident through the "near-perfect match" of reader Ivan Doig and author Norman MacLean.

I saw the movie years ago and it was just ok for me. I never read the book and have no intentions of doing so now because I'll never get as much out of it as Ivan Doug put into it. I was captivated by his voice and the heart he put into it.

Ice-T here offers his hip-hop generation’s Horatio Alger story: the narrative of an orphaned child who, drawn inexorably into a harrowing life of crime, ultimately turns away from the streets and, through self-discipline and a single-minded work ethic, forges a path to international fame as a musician and film-and-television star.

I began listening to this audio book with no idea why I had ordered it in the first place. Culturally the author and I couldn't be further apart. But I truly enjoyed every minute of it including the narration.

This is the best sci/fi-fantasy I've read since Dune, many years ago. I'll leave the writing of a synopsis to far more articulate people. This other-world fantasy is incredible, full of fantastic imagery and fully rounded characters. I listened to all three of the Audible books; they left me wanting more. Simon Vance has a beautiful reading voice, his use of the many accents made the characters come alive. I'll be looking for more of his performances.

Bernard Cornwell never disappoints. I prefer the pronunciations in the earlier books but this reader has a nicely modulated voice, easy to understand.

Bernard Cornwell's is amazing as always. I did not enjoy the reader from the first paragraph!
Revisado: 02-29-16
The Saxon books are a wonderful read and so I am now listening to them through Audible. Thankfully John Lee reads only one of this series. His fast staccato style wasn't inductive to a relaxing listen. Perhaps he should have studied Frederick Davidson's amazing narrations.
