Historia
Summoned to an abandoned theme park to retrieve a body, Dr. Kay Scarpetta is devastated to learn that the victim is a man she once had an intense love affair with. The murder scene is bizarre, with a crop circle of petals around the body, and Giordano’s skin is strangely red. Scarpetta’s niece Lucy believes he was dropped from an unidentified flying craft. Scarpetta knows an autopsy can reveal the dead’s secrets, but she is shocked to find her friend seems to have deliberately left her a clue.

Historia
You are a failed novelist about to turn 50. A wedding invitation arrives in the mail: Your boyfriend of the past nine years is engaged to someone else. You can't say yes - it would be too awkward - and you can't say no - it would look like defeat. On your desk are a series of invitations to half-baked literary events around the world. Question: How do you arrange to skip town? Answer: You accept them all.

Not my genre
Revisado: 09-14-23
Please prepare me in your description of these themes that seem to emphasize the crazy life of rich gay men. The book name drops my favorite city San Francisco but really doesn’t NameDrop my San Francisco. The city I was born in. The city my mother and father were born.
Basically this book is just something I can’t relate to.

Not something that a guy would like.
And incredibly boring.

Historia
As you'll discover in his incomparable memoir, inventor, mechanic, TV presenter and walking tall as the definition of the British eccentric, Edd China sees things differently. An unstoppable enthusiast from an early age, Edd had 35 ongoing car projects while he was at university, not counting the double-decker bus he was living in. Now he's a man with not only a runaround sofa, but also a road-legal office, shed, bed and bathroom.

Please apologize. This is crap.

What was I thinking? I thought I was going to be part of his experience with Wheeler Dealers and Top Gear. But all I heard was a cleaver guy that virtually makes the equivalent of a parade vehicle. I was expecting a guy talking about Porsche’s, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Corvette and other cars. Give Edd an award for all his cleaver vehicles. But seriously. Is this really enough to create a book after?
