Historia
In recent years, Google’s autonomous cars have logged thousands of miles on American highways and IBM’s Watson trounced the best human Jeopardy! players. Digital technologies — with hardware, software, and networks at their core — will in the near future diagnose diseases more accurately than doctors can, apply enormous data sets to transform retailing, and accomplish many tasks once considered uniquely human.

The ideas presented are outdated and most of them not applicable today - false. All this history has been related everywhere. Nothing new or of interest. Thanks

Surprising story
Revisado: 01-18-24
The consistency of the story is good. But too much filling which are very loosely related to the story ( poetry, lot of repetition, …), In summary the book could be shorter.

Historia
In this myth-busting book, Daniel Lieberman, professor of human evolutionary biology at Harvard University and a pioneering researcher on the evolution of human physical activity, tells the story of how we never evolved to exercise - to do voluntary physical activity for the sake of health. Using his own research and experiences throughout the world, Lieberman recounts without jargon how and why humans evolved to walk, run, dig, and do other necessary and rewarding physical activities while avoiding needless exertion.

Revisado: 10-16-21
I bought this book by error, I was looking to the one with the same title of Alex Scarrow, not available. This book is uninteresting, boring, full of un useful details… In addition the reading voice is very unpleasant. Thanks

Not much for the money
Revisado: 01-16-21
This book is on an interesting subject, a few historical points, some subjects like the gulf stream are of interest. But it does not contain a lot to learn of. The recommendations are, on my knowledge, not so relevant or worst. I’m sorry to say that the book is boring and disappointing. I read all but I had to commit myself.
Thanks

Historia
We are now standing at the precipice of the next transformative development: The Internet of Things. Soon, connected technology will be embedded in hundreds of everyday objects we already use: our cars, wallets, watches, umbrellas, even our trash cans. These objects will respond to our needs, come to know us, and learn to think on our behalf. David Rose calls these devices - which are just beginning to creep into the marketplace - Enchanted Objects.
