DIY Building
Revisado: 03-16-22
As a DIY home builder myself, I enjoyed the parts of the book that spoke about the build the most. I felt encouraged that I, too, could be an influencer in my own way. As always, it was sweet to hear Noell's voice, as familiar as it is from her Instagram page. I love that she read her own thoughts, no other voice would have been fitting. Hearing about her past and how she overcame it has me realizing that I should do some deep thinking about my own childhood and how it still affects me.

Oh, Dolly!!
Revisado: 03-10-22
Dolly fans, the Audible version is the way to go. it could have only been better if they would have actually sung the lyrics instead of just speaking them. Kelsea did a great job, too. it was a good story with an unexpected twist at the end. Good work. I hope Dolly Parton and James Patterson team up for another fictional novel soon.

romance writer by a pre-teen?
Revisado: 10-10-21
the author seemed to glamorize or at least except mental abuse. the main character was repulsive. it seems the chauvinistic qualities were supposed earn your heart. while reading I imagined the book would end with him killing her. all the signs of mental abuse were there. instead she fell in love with him and his warped ways when she should have ran.
