Disappointed-Returning for refund

The narration of this book just rubbed me the wrong way. I truly tried listening for 20 minutes and just could not finish it. Sending it back for a refund.

It ranks very, very high on my list of Audible books I've listened too so far.

What did you like best about this story?

The best part is the dual narration.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They made the story very believable.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I literally had to force myself to turn this book off and go to bed. Lol!!

Male Narration is Awful!!

I am disappointed in the male narrator. He sounds like he is just reading a book. I could only get to chapter 3. I then skipped to the next chapter to hear the female narrator, she was fine. I will be returning this book.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The Narrator!!! She made Noah and Charles sound like geeks instead of Alpha males. I really in enjoyed the printed book better.

What did you like best about this story?

I love the story. It's the audio version I do not care for.

How could the performance have been better?

The narrator could have done a way way better job in voicing the male characters.

Do you think Don't Bite the Bridesmaid needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes, but not if the audio version will have the same narrator.

Please re-do this book with a different narrator.

Awful narration voice!!!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Different Narrator. Why make a twenty something woman sound like a older person that smokes heavily.

What could Gini Koch have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

It was not a Gini Koch issue. The book sounds like a great read. It's the audible version that's the problem.

Would you be willing to try another one of Romy Nordlinger’s performances?

Hell No!!! I did not get past the first couple of chapters. That voice ruined it for me.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The story was not the problem. The audible narrator was the issue.

Where does Fury of Obsession rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was a great book, but could have been better if more of the story would have been about Venom and Evelyn. This one did not live up to it's potential.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Venom. It was wonderful to see a serious side to him. Great how the story showed how jealous he was of Wick new relationship with JJ and his loneliness.

Which character – as performed by Cole Ferguson – was your favorite?

Though I really missed Benjamin L. Darcie voice, Cole did a sexy voice for Venom. I wish Audible would stick with the same narrators for series.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Not sure. The whole dragon series would make a excellent movie.

I was very disappointed in this book. There was barely a storyline about Venom and Evelyn. There was more about the secondary characters then the main two people it was suppose to be focused on. Coreene short change us on this book.
