Historia
Three very different women are recruited to the mysterious Bletchley Park, where the best minds in Britain train to break German military codes. Vivacious debutante Osla has the dashing Prince Philip of Greece sending her roses - but she burns to prove herself as more than a society girl, working to translate decoded enemy secrets. Self-made Mab masters the legendary codebreaking machines as she conceals old wounds and the poverty of her East-End London upbringing. And shy local girl Beth is the outsider who trains as one of the Park’s few female cryptanalysts.

Loved this story and the weaving of the three ladies from 3 different walks of life. The performance was super and I always knew who was who by her voice. The characters are so plausible and I found them so imperfectly perfect.

A breathe of fresh air
Revisado: 02-03-24
The trials and tribulations of Anna along with the civilization as it was, brings a new perspective of the well known Jesus story. I loved the texture of this story as it has enriched my imagination of the times and settings. This book, for me, has added salt & spice to a now flavourless dish. I am also inspired by these beautifully brave women.

Mr Osman had me gripped again with the twists and turns and even when I try to anticipate the who-dunnit, I am wrong! Love being out danced and captivated by this wonderful group of pensioners. Love the philosophy, the heart and the awareness of the fragility of life.

I have loved listening to this book. I have cried, been inspired and been swept along in this consuming tale. I loved the imagery and the simple way that a philosophy has been portrayed. I would buy a book that had those imageries and thoughts illustrated.

Many women have spent their lives trying to succeed by "making it" in a man's world. But things are changing - more and more women are realizing that this way of being is no longer sustainable. We are experiencing a global shift that mystics through the ages have predicted: the return of the mother and the rise of the sacred feminine. Historia
A witch is a wise woman, a healer. Yet for so long the word witch has had negative connotations. In this book, third generation hereditary witch Lisa Lister explains the history behind witchcraft, why identifying as a healer in past centuries led women to be burned at the stake, and why the witch is reawakening in women across the world today. This book provides an overview of the different schools of witchcraft and the core principles and practices within them.
