Historia
When his mother, Barbara, turns seventy, Jedidiah Jenkins is reminded of a sobering truth: Our parents won’t live forever. For years, he and Barbara have talked about taking a trip together, just the two of them. They disagree about politics, about God, about the project of society—disagreements that hurt. But they love thrift stores, they love eating at diners, they love true crime, and they love each other. Jedidiah wants to step into Barbara’s world and get to know her in a way that occasional visits haven’t allowed.

Historia
On the eve of turning 30, terrified of being funneled into a life he didn’t choose, Jedidiah Jenkins quit his dream job and spent 16 months cycling from Oregon to Patagonia. He chronicled the trip on Instagram, where his photos and reflections drew hundreds of thousands of followers, all gathered around the question: What makes a life worth living? In this unflinchingly honest memoir, Jed narrates his adventure - the people and places he encountered on his way to the bottom of the world - as well as the internal journey that started it all.

Not all who wonder are lost. Some who wonder, seek.
Revisado: 04-16-24
This book is inspiring and resonated with me.
So whether you bike for 14000 Miles, Or walk around your neighborhood, meditating & searching for purpose, you will find it. We simply have to live in the present moment, and truly experience the "Journey".
Like the saying goes, "We can't see the Forrest through the trees". When in reality, we are standing in the middle of it.
@Jed, thank you for writing this book. Peace be with you!

Historia
The author Sri "M" is an extraordinary individual. His uniqueness lies not only in the fact that at the young age of 19 and a half, he travelled to snow-clad Himalayas from Kerala, and there he met and lived for several years with a "real-time" yogi, Babaji, but also that he should undertake such an unusual and adventurous exploration, given his non-Hindu birth and antecedents. The metamorphosis of Mumtaz Ali Khan into Sri "M", a yogi with profound knowledge of the Upanishads and deep personal insights, is born of first-hand experiences with higher levels of consciousness....

Historia
The practice of what is commonly known as hatha yoga is but one of eight branches of the body of knowledge that is yoga. Yoga is a sophisticated system of self-empowerment that is capable of harnessing and activating inner energies in such a way that your body and mind function at their optimal capacity. It is a means to create inner situations exactly the way you want them, turning you into the architect of your own joy. A yogi lives life in this expansive state, and in this transformative book Sadhguru tells the story of his own awakening.

TRANSFORMATIONAL, if you allow it!
Revisado: 11-01-22
The information contained in these pages is indeed transformational. But, like a Bible passage heard thousands of times, one must be in an aligned disposition to truly understand it, or at the very least have their intellectual door ajar.
Even a slight opening will guarantee that the Divine light will enter. That light, and all it's elements will generate Spiritual photosynthesis.
Simply said, for Human "experiential" growth, inquire within!
@Sadhguru, thank you for being, as we say in Spanish, My Maestro!
Peace, Namaste 🙏🏽

Historia
More than 30 years ago, nutrition researcher T. Colin Campbell and his team at Cornell University, in partnership with teams in China and England, embarked upon the most comprehensive study ever undertaken of the relationship between diet and the risk of developing disease. What they found, when combined with findings in Campbell's laboratory, opened their eyes to the dangers of a diet high in animal protein and the unparalleled health benefits of a whole foods, plant-based diet.

Full Circle!
Revisado: 02-10-22
Very inspiring work from all Doctors and Professionals mentioned in this book. What a lesson in perseverance, and on taking the road less traveled. I especially love the connection between Dr. T Colin and Dr. "Ess" as he indearingly calls him. Two farm boys who would be deeply conflicted in their respective careers, and then equally connected by what had always been at their feet.... Dirt!
