Historia
My name is Jack Steen. That name shouldn’t mean anything to you, unless you’re about to die—and then I’m your bloody guardian angel. I work as a night nurse in the Asylum for the Criminally Insane.

Humanity
Revisado: 06-28-24
Each story pulls something from humanity to get you thinking. It makes you sympathize with people you otherwise never would. It gets you questioning.
The narrator for this series is outstanding! However, the editor leaves in quite a few sections where the narrator says a line more than once.

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

Touching & Insightful
Revisado: 12-21-23
It’s hard to rate someone’s life. But I truly loved and appreciated how honest this was. Millions (myself included) have been fans of Jennette as long as I can remember, and it’s crazy to think that all of this was happening behind the scenes and we would’ve never known had things not unfolded the way they did. I’m so glad Jennette shared her story and is continuing to improve her wellbeing. I look forward to reading whatever else she may come out with
