Historia
Anticipating a new dawn of freedom after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Russians could hardly have foreseen the reality of their future a decade later: a country impoverished and controlled at every level by organized crime. This riveting book views the 1990s reform period through the experiences of individual citizens, revealing the changes that have swept Russia and their effect on Russia's age-old ways of thinking.

Pretty sure an AI read this

It really bothers me that the the intonation on specific phrases are certainly not how a human professionally trained actor would choose, also the lack of pauses where there would naturally be a breath with a human.
I don’t think a human person read this. It feels unnatural.

Historia
In the house of Helios, god of the sun and mightiest of the Titans, a daughter is born. But Circe is a strange child—not powerful, like her father, nor viciously alluring like her mother. Turning to the world of mortals for companionship, she discovers that she does possess power—the power of witchcraft, which can transform rivals into monsters and menace the gods themselves.

Spent from ecstasy

Gorgeous, sumptuous, lush, excellent - a dream from an ambrosian stupor.
I did not want it to end.
But alas I am mortal, and for us, even the most sublime ecstasy must.

Historia
From breakout stand-up comedian Iliza Shlesinger comes a subversively funny collection of essays and observations on a confident woman's approach to friendship, singlehood, and relationships. "Girl Logic" is Iliza's term for the way women obsess over details and situations that men don't necessarily even notice. She describes it as a characteristically female way of thinking that appears to be contradictory and circuitous but is actually a complicated and highly evolved way of looking at the world.

Amazing. I laughed out loud from start to finish. Heartfelt and honest and eye opening....and witty.
