when I tell you that I loved this story with my whole heart & I need everyone to read it. I am so glad that we finally got Mable's story- and with Joe Lupo?! this had the best meet-cute and it made me giggle so much. It was so nice to see two MCs who were both in their 30s and in their careers. I've realized that as I am close to there age, I found that super comforting and relatable. this story was the perfect way to end this series. there was so many swoon-worthy moments in this book that pulled at my heart strings. I have already read it more than once because I didn't want to leave. I am a huge lover of accidental pregnancy and this is one of my favorite ones I've read this year. their chemistry was so evident from their very first interaction. these are two characters who were made for each other. they complimented each other so well and I love how deeply they cared for each other throughout the entire book. I loved that although it was a surprise, they were ready to give their baby everything that they would want and need. I loved seeing all of the big and small gestures that Joe did for Mable. he was literally the sweetest towards her and taking care of her needs and remembering so many little things from their meet-cute that he fulfilled off of her list. and likewise she was always so supportive of Joe and his career. I loved getting to see her learn and follow hockey as well as support him and his games. there was so much maturity from both of them and it was super refreshing to read. this is going to be one of my all time favorite Melanie books and one of my top books of the year. I am so sad to be leaving Cherry Tree Harbor but I am excited for what is next. another fantastic book!

the audio for this one was so stinking good. if you know me then you know that Connor is my favorite male narrator. his voice is perfect for any type of athlete and he really portrays they emotions of the character well. his voice is comforting and was perfect for Joe's personality. Kristen captured Mable's voice and personality perfectly. I have only listened to a few of her books but she killed this one. there were so many moments she made me giggle and made me tear up. I loved this casting so much.

another favorite of 2024!

Sloane and Xavier came to play and they were perfect! I loved this story so much. their chemistry was sooooo good and I ate this up. I loved this grumpy girl x sunshine boy romance. this is one that was done right and if anyone knows how to write a billionaire romance it's Ana. seeing their relationship grow throughout the book was such a journey. from their past hurts to now there was so much growth. this book was emotional, sweet, and spicy as heck. like why am I always blushing?! hehe. but seriously, there is something so special with the way that Ana writes her books. I am always able to connect with the main characters and the way that Sloane was repressing her feelings- like SAME. I love how kind and understanding Xavier was to Sloane- it made me melt in a puddle. talk about a mmc showing up and staying there. I love the opposites attract, it makes me feel that even if you don't think there is someone out there for you, it might just be your opposite. I will be sitting with this book for a long while. this was such a beautiful love story and it had me in all of my feels. just another hit that I am so glad I got to read. this was perfection!

A TOP BOOK OF THE YEAR!

I cannot tell you how excited I was for Toren's book. and then you have an amazing fmc like Jennsyn and when I tell you I ATE this up. all I wanted to do the whole book was give Jennsyn the biggest hug. I felt every emotion that she was feeling. and then you have Toren who was always there and knows how to show up for his family. their story was addicting and I could not put it down. there was so much chemistry between them and the internal struggle of how forbidden it was kept me drawn in. they meet at Toren's 4th of July party and the sparks fly. literally. then two weeks later they meet again but Jennsyn is introduced as a transfer student athlete. I normally dont gravitate towards teacher/coach x student but this one has changed my mind. I loved Coach, but I loved this one even more. I cannot stop thinking about how much I enjoyed this read and how I already cant wait to re-read it. they both deeply cared for each other and saw things about the other that most people didn't. the chemistry was absolutely insane between them and it made me root for them to be together again from the very beginning. they were so in sync with reach other and in tune to the others emotions. this is one of my top books of the year for sure. I will be sending Devney my therapy bill because of how unwell I am over this book and this series. & don’t even get my started on the bonus epilogue 😭

Jason and Vanessa absolutely KILLED this one. I think they are my new favorite duo. I will never be over how good of a job they did bringing Toren and Jennsyn to life. I felt like I was there and I felt every single emotion.

one of the cutest small towns!

wow wow wow. this book was everything I wanted and more! I am so freaking proud of Kat and the growth of her writing. I love a small town and add in the best friend's brother. chefs kiss. this was such an emotional read for me. there were so many perfect moments of this book, and there was also so much growth that needed to happen for the mcs. this story alternates back and forth from the past to the present. I usually don't like this much back and forth, but for this one I loved it. It really gave you the whole picture of how we got to where they are today. for me, it really helped answer a lot of questions about her hesitation. there was so much hurt between both of them from the past, and it was really emotional reading them grow from that and how they felt in those moments. the title for this book is absolute perfection and fits the story so well. the ending had me weeping. all the tears. also can we please talk about that dirty mouth that Cade has?! holyyyyyy heck. I had to take breaks while reading/listening to this one. Kat's spice hits different. I also loved the interaction with Pippa and Camden. It makes me so excited to jump into their book! HIGHLY recommend this one if you love a small town!!!

i love a good enemies to lovers & marriage of convenience! this one was so stinking good. wow the banter had me laughing. i loved being able to see the soft and caring side of Enzo. family first and always. such a good theme for their story. also— i read the extended bonus scene/epilogue and it had me bawling so hard. worth it 100000%

i love hunter and demi. we also love a reformed playboy. this was such a good book. i am obsessed with this series and i am so glad that we got to finally see hunter find love. there was a lot of character growth also and i am here for it. there were a lot of parts that made me LOL and their friendship made me melt.

This story was everything I ever wanted and more. The narration was perfection and I am a HUGE Teddy and CJ fan. it was nothing less than perfection. they always know how to bring the story to life and I already can't wait to re-listen!!!

amazing and emotional story!

wow wow wow!!! this book was absolutely amazing! I listened to this is one day. finally Mark had his book. I have loved him since book 1 of this series, and I was always wondering what kind of woman he would end up with. Charlie is such a badass. what a strong fmc. I loved reading her story. this has a lot of suspense in it and I am here for it. they have the best banter and it kept me on my toes. this book is the perfect amount of spice, and I loved the change up on it being only one book. I love that she was in the CIA and he was a SEAL. this combo of them both being headstrong and learning how to deal with their feelings had me laughing, smiling, and even shed a tear. they were both every hard on the outside, but soft on the inside. once they both realized their feelings for each other and stopped fighting it, you could feel their deep love for each other. there were so many twists and turns in this one. I LOVED this so freaking much.

Brother's best friend- say no more!

I loved reading this story of Aria and Grayson so much. It was such unique way of writing a secret pen pals story- and then throw in that it was brother's best friend. I mean it was absolute GOLD the way that he cared for and loved her. There were so many things that they had to overcome, but after fighting for each other, and trying to encourage each other they were able to find a healthier balance. I was not expecting the plot twist at all. it had me on edge, and it made me love Noah and his relationship with Aria. thank goodness for the character growth of both of them. I cannot wait to read about Noah's story!

wow wow wow. this one was so freaking good. when you read a Catharina book you always know you are going to get an emotional, spicy, and angsty. Elena is desperate to help save her mother and is willing to do almost anything to help. then comes in Alexander Kennedy . he needs a wife so that he can take ownership into his role in the family business. so they work out a marriage of convenience. he pays for her mother to have state of the art care and she plays the role of his future wife. the only rule is, this is not for love. there are so many emotions in this book but I loved every second of it. there was something so special about them as a couple. they both had a lot of growth before they could truly be together. this one made me smile, laugh, and cry.
