I love Dannika Dark books because of the world and characters she builds! She is one of my favorite authors so I find it difficult to give anything less than five stars, because of her writing style, wit, outloud laughs and character development.

The Brave story is a continuation of character stories, and I'm so happy to learn more about Atticus' and Joy's journey. It's a predictable story and leaves more avenues to branch off in future books.

This world and family are what I to belong to, and Nicole Poole is amazing in bringing the characters to life.

Maybe because I'm a book nerd that I feel an invested connection to her characters, but in my case each book feels like coming home.

Looking forward to Lucian story!

Disappointing!!!!!! Pure smut

The only advantages to this book is the supporting characters take the lead, and the stupid female main character is limited. She is a train wreck already and she doesn't develop or improve over the series.

Book one is a great start to the series however, it takes a steady nose dive to book three and hitting rock bottom on book five. Sadly this could have been a great series, but the constant repetition of comments over and over (crap editing!!!!!), annoying and soundly absurd sex scenes combined with the absolute stupidity of the MC (supposed to be a trained soldier) makes the story unbearable by book five. Ive never speed up a narration this fast 1.75 just to get through a series. I constantly do 30 sec skips ahead just to find the point. I feel like i threw money away, but the story outside the MC's and supporting characters keeps me listening because you cant see whats around the corner. Ugh.

Its a unique Fae storyline and the narration is well done on audible, but SOOOOOOO many better stories to read before this series!!!!

This wonderful, binge worthy series' target audience is young teens based on issues addressed and the naivety of the MC's decision-making skills, but very
enjoyable for all ages.

I love when you as the reader can feel the emotions of characters and the angst in the situation.

I really enjoyed the storyline and supporting characters.

The content is simular to Sabaa Tahir, Victoria Aveyard, Sarah Maas and Bridget Baker's popular series.

The audiobook narrator is great too.

For those grieving and supporting!!

I received your audiobook as a free gift to try and write a review on months ago. My son Aidan died at the age of 14 by suicide on 8 DEC 2018. I was there and held him as he died. I haven't been able to listen or read any of the books I was gifted for the past three years, but today I decided to complete this one because it is quick and I could listen while walking in the woods. I have been getting counseling from the start. Also, I have done a lot of research on my own to understand the teen brain, and to work through my PTSD. EMDR seems to be the only thing that really makes a difference besides tools from counseling and your book as well as time learning to manage and often avoid the grief. The guilt is unbearable!!! I love all the books comments on forgiveness, questions to ponder, breathing techniques and other helpful tools. I do think this is a book to listen to at different times over grief and for those supporting people that have lost a child. I was an emotional book to listen to, but only because I felt like my emotions and grief were validate. I needed something short with practical tools that got to the point. This book hit the mark.
