Historia
Getting into the vampire-only detective unit was the easy part. What’s going to be more difficult is dealing with my new partner - an ancient vampire who keeps threatening to eat me. The unit has never had a human in it. Marcus - or, as I like to call him: Fangy McFangface - would really prefer to keep it that way. He’s grumpy, short-tempered, and broody, but I have a way with words, and I know he’s starting to like me, even if he swears he’s not.

Better than a night at the Pro
Revisado: 12-23-20
Witty without being stupid. Prepare to fall in love with the characters that come to life with a masterful narration.
Both book 1 and 2 have been enjoyed by my whole family with rave reviews and enthusiastic encouragement to listen to more. But take heed if you're over 50...use the facilities before getting comfortable lest you wet your drawers in laughter.

Historia
Fourteen-year-old Greg Dixon is living a nightmare. Attending boarding school outside of Boston, he is separated from his family when a pandemic strikes. His classmates and teachers are dead, rotting in a dormitory-turned-morgue steps from his room. The nights are getting colder, and his food has run out. The last message from his father is to get away from the city and to meet at his grandparents' town in remote New Hampshire.

If you like a epic journey This is a great book. No zombies, no bad group of survivors against another. Just the stories of people who come together and find a new way of living in the world that has been completely transformed. It has a few unfavorable characters, and some of the journeys of the characters have been harsh. But it would not be realistic if everyone didn’t have their own horrible memories of such a monumental event.
The narrator was really great, I’ve always enjoyed his work. He can make you forget about a character being male or female. He’s amazing. You can just sit back and enjoy the book with his smooth reading.

The Mad Dogs return to Camp Smokey in the North Carolina Mountains brings more changes than just their brand new downtime base. Promotions that are unwanted, more questions Doc needs to answer, and born shifters to be recruited in hopes that they can become Mad Dogs. But even with new allies, the Council and the Organization just won’t give the unit a break

Love this series. However, why oh why did you change our narrator? This one is good, but the original narrator was so much better and did each of the characters so well. Each had their own inflection. I still enjoyed the book, but please bring back our first narrator back for next book!

I had to stop the first time I started this book. The beginning just didn’t get off on the right foot for me. However, I went back after reading a review of the book saying they also had to give it a second try. So I did. It turned out to be a good read. So. Give it a chapter or two. Then you will enjoy.

Wonderful story. Excellent writing. However, I can only read one of this series at a time without a break. They get very serious, and you feel for the characters so much. This one just gutted me emotionally. But.. it was a great story!

Then there's the mystery of Seth's many unusual talents. Finally, there's Abaddon himself. He's beginning to like Seth a bit too much. Maybe Seth deserves something better than damnation.
