Historia
A Secret Service operative and dedicated survivalist, Special Agent Del Roosevelt had a plan for every world-ending scenario and regularly trained for them all. He was even ready for a date with the hottest woman in his office next Friday. At least he hoped so. But all that training, all those rations, all that prepping? Useless for the apocalypse that actually played out. Del wakes up half-buried in a giant trash pile, missing his thumbs. And, um, covered in red fur. He's stuck in a world of fuzzy monsters, senseless violence, and cult-like crusaders.

Painful
Revisado: 01-25-25
I love Eric. His stuff is so good. But this book needed an editor or peers review. Started slow and confusing and ended poorly. I would have stopped the book halfway through if it wasn’t Eric. It was a good concept and I think it would be worth a rewrite.

Drivel
Revisado: 03-08-19
Boring and Derivative. I am a big fan of the lit RPG genre but the story was just sad. It was completely unoriginal and broken. MC was not believable. And the skill system was stupid. Clearly the author has never thrown a blade. I know it’s a fantasy book but an cubical dweller turns into a master thief at level 11 and in a three week period. Narriation was good however so keep up the good work.

Nora Roberts and Jim Butcher have a weird mutated love child
Revisado: 08-19-15
I the book splits halfway through it started as a weak Harry Dresden novel and then quickly the lead character find the love romance and loses his mind. We then go into a Nora Roberts tailspin. The plot is shaky the whole ending is weird I don't know why this book is getting good reviews. Maybe his other books are better but this one's not that great.

Historia
Spring has arrived, and open war with it. Mostly healed from his wound, Alexander departs the Dragon Isle only to be set upon by enemies from all sides. Outnumbered, desperate and running for his life, he’s shipwrecked in enemy territory then sold into slavery in the fabled city of Mithel Dour. Ancient and mysterious, it’s said that the city was discovered rather than built. Within, Alexander finds a secret so old and so powerful that it could turn the tide of war and possibly doom Isabel to the netherworld in the process.

What disappointed you about Linkershim?
I wanted to like the series. first 2 books were solid/good books and then we descend. I really wanted to there was so much potential but the characters never grow. there caught jack get them out and there caught and jack gets them out. jack is a bard/master spy/ninja hell the story should be about him. ugh not happy i wanted to return this last book bu no i won't I will use it as a personal punishment to stop listening to books when they are bad.

Any additional comments?
it was great. I thought it was going to be the steampunk version of Mean Girls but it was delightful. My only complaint is the brevity of the book. The author could have easily drawn out the book and I find it baffling that none of the other street gangs didn't bother her. but still a good solid read/listen.

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Historia
Moneyball reveals a quest for something as elusive as the Holy Grail, something that money apparently can't buy: the secret of success in baseball. The logical places to look would be the giant offices of major league teams and the dugouts. But the real jackpot is a cache of numbers collected over the years by a strange brotherhood of amateur baseball enthusiasts: software engineers, statisticians, Wall Street analysts, lawyers, and physics professors.

I have found my next unsaviory role model
Revisado: 06-20-12
This book was gripping!!! I could not take my headphones off. The correlatives to modern life were astounding. Oh, it???s just another book about baseball! No. If this is your first thought then you missed the point. You missed the premise. The world is full of untapped knowledge waiting for the individual who is savvy and yet fearless. I love this book. I am rereading it again trying to think of subtle ways to bring these ideals to my line of work. Great book. Thanks for writing it!

Same story diffrent time
Revisado: 02-02-10
This is the same story as the Sign of Seven Trilogy. the narration is well done but the story is almost exactly the same. the sign of seven was a good story line but i didn't want to hear it again in a 14th century format. the concept had great promise but it was predictable once you have read the Sign of Seven Trilogy. I hope this helps
