Historia
The Trouble with Physics argues that a limited notion of time is holding physics back. It's time for a major revolution in scientific thought. The reality of time could be the key to the next big breakthrough in theoretical physics. What if the laws of physics themselves were not timeless? What if they could evolve? Time Reborn offers a radical new approach to cosmology that embraces the reality of time and opens up a whole new universe of possibilities.

Interesting Read, well reasoned and measured
Revisado: 03-23-18
Lee gives a well-reasoned and measured explaination of why he thinks that time is fundamental and the reasons why he believes this is necessary for the future of physics.
The last 2 chapters are disjointed and don't add to the argument of the book, but overall a very good foil to the block universe model and Boltzmann's infinite universe hypothesis.

Historia
You are reading the word now right now. But what does that mean? What makes the ephemeral moment "now" so special? Its enigmatic character has bedeviled philosophers, priests, and modern-day physicists from Augustine to Einstein and beyond. Einstein showed that the flow of time is affected by both velocity and gravity, yet he despaired at his failure to explain the meaning of now. Equally puzzling: Why does time flow? Some physicists have given up trying to understand and call the flow of time an illusion.

Uninspired and meandering
Revisado: 03-05-18
Not very cohesive, wandered around a lot. relaid a lot of Fairley Elementary quantum mechanics and general relativity insights only to reject most of the mainstream conclusions with very little cogent argument. I did not find it compelling.

Max Tegmark leads us on an astonishing journey through past, present and future, and through the physics, astronomy, and mathematics that are the foundation of his work, most particularly his hypothesis that our physical reality is a mathematical structure and his theory of the ultimate multiverse. In a dazzling combination of both popular and groundbreaking science, he not only helps us grasp his often mind-boggling theories, but he also shares with us some of the often surprising triumphs and disappointments that have shaped his life as a scientist.

Quite a misleading title!
Revisado: 02-07-13
What would have made Slow Sex better?
Slow sex would have been better if it were named Orgasmic Meditation: a guide to its practice.
Would you ever listen to anything by Nicole Daedone again?
No.
Which scene was your favorite?
The scene where she is talking to the groups of men and women about what they wish their partners knew about them.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Yes, in fact it was a pretty good read. I just think the title was very misleading.
