I enjoyed Sam's rough and tumble style and the great narration. A fun listen that holds your attention and rewards you with stimulating scenes and realistic dilemmas.

This Steve Jobs character connected immediately...not a superhero, feet made if clay, living proof that no good deed goes upunished yet he puts himself on the line to do the right thing anyway. Sometimes he gets lucky; sometimes badly scared. He is open and unpretentious, and the narrator is wonderful.

A future planetary migration as one might unfold

Ray is a very enjoyable author whose writing provides enough solid technology to do a credible storyline without neglecting to characters and the non technological events. I find this to be an uncommonly enjoyable world building style without any gaping holes to distract a discerning reader. In "Red Dots", as in many of Ray's books, some very basic assumptions that are often taken for granted, are exposed and shown to be taken for granted at your own risk. The Universe is very big, and is absolutely guaranteed to contain things earthling humans could not possibly imagined. Ray's books take us beyond the unspoken boundaries (the "box") of more conventional by exploring questions that too often go unasked.

A wonderful conclusion!

Someone who has lost everything is extremely dangerous, like Sampson. With nothing left to lose, why not bring down the temple and prevent those who scorned you from enjoying their "victory"--no matter the personal cost. Whatever it takes, she will find a way to do just that. Hold your friends close, and your enemies even closer. So Ilana must learn who her real friends are or lose (once again) her everything

Nic knows she has only one unsparing road ahead

Nic has been through a lot in the first book and in this second book, as she recovers from personal losses and regains strength, she realizes that whatever her personal preferences may be, her way forward leads to the Gauntlet, a fierce challenge in the Norse mythology tradition, with only two possible outcomes. One of them has her claiming her birthright as she trades her mortality for a forever young throne - and the other? Well, no one who doesn't make it through has returned to tyell what happens if you fail.

Great characterizations! Great story! 5 stars

Book 1 hooked me - and now the plot thickens!

As if the first book wasn't enough of an exploration of an unparalleled event, when I opened Book 2 things accelerated - and a quest for survival of our species takes an unexpected turn for the overwhelming. Characters you already care about and some well developed newcomers add to pulling you into the storyline. Never a dull moment seems to be a good description of this continuation of an epic with unlimited potential

Reminded me of when driving was a pleasure

This book is a collection of varied and imaginative stories of the road - on earth, among the stars, wherever things have to be moved from one place or time to another. Stories from different points of view: those who police and protect the roads and the drivers of the big rigs, the human drivers who are last of breed as Artificial Intellegence moves into the driver's seat, the things that fill the long hours away from home. There is something for everyone in this excellent collection. Some I enjoyed immensely, some not so much, but I give 5 stars across the board.

I really enjoyed every minute of this book. Techno sound without excessive detall but sòlid support for a plausible fast places sterling with caràcters who feel like your friends. FIVE STARS

Top notch writing, exquisite character development

I am not normally big on romantic story lines, but I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful book. Breaking stereotypes is putting it mildly when Lucifer discovers that the mother of a prophesized child has been unable to conceive and deserted by an unsympathetic husband. She is coming apart at the seams.
Lucifer pulls out the big gun and sends the demon of lust himself to seduce her and move things along.
Demons may have been underrated when it comes to feelings and attachments - but will that help or hurt. And what about that walk-out husband? Has he actually given up? Can he actually give up - and if not, how will he stack up against the demon of lust himself?
Read one page and you'll be hooked too.

This fast paced action story is populated with caràcters who are not what you expect in a spy story. excellent narration too. i Want more of this fine writing! FIVE STARS
