That’s the novelty of fiction versus reality. You can’t re-live your own love story, because by the time you’ve realized you’re living it, it’s over. At least that was the case for me and the men I trusted my foolish heart to. Looking back, I’m convinced I willed my story into existence, due to my illness, and all were punished.

I am a HUGE King fan, and have read almost everything there is to read. Most are WONDERFUL! But, a few are stinkers. This one, in my opinion included. I just couldn't get interested in the story, it was boring and blah. I can't believe I used 10 hours and 44 minutes of my life waiting for something to happen.
No spoilers here...listen for yourself, and decide what you think.

I thought I had read every Stephen king book that I could get my hands on. I know I’ve watched the movie, the green, mile a minimum of 50 times I’m not sure if I enjoyed the three segment part of this particular reading but the storyline was different in the movie, but definitely just as good. The narrator is amazing.

I knew this book was supposed to be good. I wanted this book to be good. The writing itself was very good, the descriptions were awesome. The story itself I found very very hard to get into it took a long time to get into it by the time it got good it just wasn’t great.

Clare...like no other.

She literally breathes the life into each and every character. Listening on Audible, I can distinguish all the characters...her narration is spot on!
If you could take any character from Dragonfly in Amber out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Clare...Because she like no other.
Any additional comments?
I am going cry like a big fat baby when I finish this series....Maybe I'll have to start all over again.
