Hands down the best book for baby sleep for breastfed babies

There are tons of baby sleep things out there, let me tell you why this is the best.
1. This provides insights and actions you can take as early as four weeks old. All other books encourage you to wait 3/4 months- which can lead to months of misery for mom.
2. This book allows you to nurse, use a bassinet, try the attendee method and even contact sleep if your baby really needs it. “12 hours by 12weeks” forces you to use bottles. Moms complain of dropped supply. “Precious sleep” makes your baby cry it out. This book will teach you gentle methods and make you feel good about sleep training- not evil nor a failure.
3. This book is succinct and filled with science based filler- not jokes or anecdotes or shit talking about other books. “Precious sleep” and “no cry sleep solution “ had so much filler I couldn’t even finish them. This book is easy to listen to just as it’s easy to read.
4. Key insights include: overtiredness, gas/burping, comfort nursing, nailing down naps (TCB has nothing on naps) and even videos and sample schedules and checklists.

I truly feel I learned how to understand my baby through this book. From sleep cycles to sleepy cues, how he soothes himself, development milestones, and more. This book is great for parents who want to start early and go gentle. And doesn’t cost $100 like taking care babies and it’s NOT filled with stupid acronyms you can’t remember at 4am.
I recommend this book to every new parent in tandem with “happiest baby on the block “ - these two books together deliver the 1-2 punch to get your baby to stop crying and start sleeping.

The chapters don’t match the actual chapters it he book and aren’t named (just, chapter 1, chapter 2) I listened for hours and am in Chapter 3 and we haven’t gotten to the sleep training part yet. She’s talked about how sad it is to hear babies cry, and details on safe sleep - which isn’t new information for me. It’s a bit agonizing - don’t think I can finish.

the dialogue and sound is nice, but it's hard to follow with all the narration removed. who's drunk? what just happened? did someone fall? the last audible original I heard was much more clear .

I loved how this intertwined a self help how-to with a very interesting narrative of Dan Harris' career. This book DOES fill the gap between seeking meditative peace and still fulfilling career goals. Dan Harris is funny and a good writer, and manages to talk about himself without tooting his own horn, a feat that so many self-help writers fail to succeed in.

I couldn't finish it. It was too slow. It's directed more toward marketing rather than short stories. The parts that I did listen to were only mildly helpful if not pretty obvious. Still, I did take away some good points, and I did like her voice and flow
