Historia
Sarah Bessey was in her sweet spot: a popular author, sought-after speaker and preacher, and an active and engaged mother of four, married to the love of her life. Raised within the Word of Faith and prosperity movements, which declared that obedience to God led to untold blessings, her life seemed to prove the preachers of her childhood were right. Then she was in a car accident with life-shattering consequences, and everything she thought she knew about God and faith was upended. Sarah tells us the whole story of the car accident that changed her body and changed her life.

A Balm yo my Soul
Revisado: 11-01-19
Short of having Sarah read her book Erin is amazing. I plowed through this book. Sarah’s words were healing and vulnerable. This is a must listen to book.

Historia
Lisa Gungor thought she knew her own story: small-town girl meets boy in college and they blissfully walk down the aisle into happily ever after. Their Christian faith was their lens and foundation for everything - their marriage, their music, their dreams for the future. But as their dreams began to come true, she began to wonder if her religion was really representative of the "good news" she had been taught.

Refreshing Honesty & Vulnerability
Revisado: 07-03-18
Our perception of the world and our communities, through the lens of social media, lacks the vulnerability that we crave as human beings. Lisa’s book is a connecting point to the joys, struggles and pure passion that can sometimes get buried in our lives. The fact that Lisa narrates her own book only deepens the impact of her journey.
