No matter that the geese will fetch a pretty penny once they get somewhere to sell them. Without coin, they can’t buy fuel, and without fuel, they can’t get offworld. Serenity is stuck.

Never fails to deliver

POB created an amazing story arc; Nutmeg of Consolation provides some very satisfying "next steps" for our beloved heroes and introduces two new characters who had a rough start. This entry in the series seems to be much more about Stephen's story, and was nicely told.

A book like an old friend...

Easy to pick up right where you left off years before. Fourth book in the series, I picked it up to listen on a long flight. It was just as good and likely better than the first time read through. Much has been written about O’Brian’s style and wit; both are on full display here. Easily one of the best series written and book four does not disappoint.
