This is more of a side story. They should not have advertised it as book 6 of the series. I feel like I wasted my money and time. I would have borrowed it from library and not purchased. The whole time I wanted to know when it was going to pickup from where the last book left off.

This book has it all

I love the story and the narrator was awesome. She totally captured Erin’s sassy, smart ass, witty and funny attitude along with her despair and vulnerability. She was also able to give each of the other characters their own unique voice and kept it all straight. It’s an amazing talent. I am definitely hooked on the audio. Hearing Erin’s anxiety and her despair and the hurt she feels at knowing that people judge her but will never understand her condition, her situation, was heart breaking. Great narration. No complaints. The story has humor, mystery, action, a whole bunch of supernaturals and yes some very sexy men to tempt you for more. I have so many questions and look forward to the next installment for more of these amazing characters.

After waiting for Ian's book for so long, I can say it is worth the wait. Jeaniene did not disappoint. When I first heard that Veritas was going to be the heroine of this story, I could not imagine what Jeaniene was thinking. To me, Veritas did not fit the bill. Boy was I wrong.
I absolutely love this story. Fun, action packed, steamy and romantic. Full of revelations. If you thought you knew everything about these to characters from their previous appearances in the Knight Huntress world, you better think again and then go get this book and prepare to not be able to willingly put it down until the last page, or the last audiobook second.
Jeaniene Frost as author and Tavia Gilbert as narrator make for one explosive ride.

I read this story from Skylar's perspective and enjoyed it, but reading Ethan's POV is quite an enjoyable revelation. I would love it even if I had not read Skylar's POV. This book actually made me like some of the characters I could hardly tolerate in the other.
Good pace. Lots of action. Definitely a great addition to the Skylar Brooks world.
Job well done Emerson Knight.
Love the narrator. I can definitely say his voice is Ethan. Dominant. Strong. Looking forward to more.
