I really don't know what to say about this title. I thought the story felt rushed. The whole interaction between Calder and Erin...they don't get along...then they do and they are confessing their love for each other. The development of the characters could have been more detailed. The explanation of how they went from not liking each other to loving one another needed more.

As for the narration, it was flat. I believe this is the first title I've listened to narrated by Benjamin James and the distinction between female characters and male characters was lacking. They sounded too similar. The old man and old woman voices were creepy as well. Overall, not a favorite unfortunately.

I've been a fan of Amy Daws for some time now. I got hooked on her London Lovers series and fell in love with her Harris Brothers.

I had enjoyed following her antics on how her story Wait With Me came to be and her love affair with Tires, Tires, Tires. And as such, I was eager to give Next in Line a listen.

Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton are great together. Brilliant narrators in their own right, together they bring this story to life. And as for Amy's characters, I think that I enjoyed Next in Line more than Wait With Me - Sam and Maggie are awesome.

The fishing puns and jokes did get a bit old as they continued throughout the book - who knew that there were so many anyways.

If you looking for a lighthearted listen, give this a go. It's a great one.

I really wanted to love this story. Given the length of this particular audiobook, you hope that it is spectacular given the amount of time invested in listening.

Unfortunately I found the story to be lacking. I think that Savannah Peachwood did the best that she could with the material that she had.

I believe that the story was too drawn out; too long. It was, unfortunately a bit predictable as well. And maybe it was because I was listening to the story, rather than reading it, but to start each and every chapter with either “I love...” or I hate...” grew tedious.

This is a great series of books. I absolutely loved each one and each narrator as well.

There are certain writers that I've decided I prefer to listen to their stories rather than reading and A.L. Jackson is one of those authors for me. Ever since her Bleeding Stars series, I just auto click on the latest audiobook release.

And Ollie's story is a fine wrap to this series. Looking Forward to her next release.

I read this book before listening to the audiobook. I'm a big fan of Sarina and The Accidentals is another great example of one of her beautiful stories.

Given the chance to give this one a listen, I still, whole heartedly believe this is a great story. And Kate Rudd is a new narrator to me, and I think she did a fabulous job.

This is a coming of age story - about a teenage girl dealing with both the recent death of her mother and meeting her biological father for the first time. It's a unique story which was one of the reasons I loved it so much.

Now I had the opportunity to read this story before giving it a listen. So I can confirm 100% that the audio enhances the overall experience.

Erin and Teddy give a great performance and strongly amplify the characters Mercedes/Kate and Miles.

Fast paced and quite funny. Found myself laughing out loud while listening.

4 bright stars!

The story was a bit predictable and it moved just a tad too quickly at times. It was like they skipped over things. As for the narration, I think that Mr. McAllister needs to work to better differentiate between characters.

When I read Grey, I had a tough time staying vested in the story. I personally love the Fifty Shades series, so I was surprised with the difficulty in retaining interest in Grey.

Now with Darker, I opted for the audiobook rather than reading and I'm so glad I did. The story from Christian's POV is so much better while being read by Zachary. His narration kept me intrigued the entire time. In fact, I'm sad to have finished the story and look forward to Freed from Christian's POV - as long as it's audio and preferably read by Zachary Webber.

I think that I'm a bit bias. I enjoyed S. R. Grey's story. My opinion on the narration is subjective. I had listened to Tracy narrate A. Zavarelli's Boston Underground series and I found her to be a perfect match for a Boston/Irish Mobster series. But Tracy's voice is too New England for me to be the perfect fit for this particular story.

I am completely surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. Initially I felt that the pacing was a bit and was afraid that the story may be boring. Far from it.

I really liked the character of Jonah. And overall I think Alice Parker did a great job with the narration.
