this book was kind of doomed. without the amazement that comes from discovering the Oasis for the first time it couldn't help but feel like a continuation of a very familiar story. He lost me big time during the WAY too long Prince segment, but overall I'm glad I read it.

An Epilogue at best

I absolutely loved the first book and anxiously waited for this one. It was even the first time I had ever pre ordered a book. I was disappointed. This "book" had very little substance to stand on its own as an integral part of the story. At best it was an 8 hour too long Epilogue for the first book. He didn't find his father or even a clue as to where he might be, The great vilian of the first book Elom Ki never even made an appearance, Pheobe and Alexanders' relationship barely changed, and one of the best characters probably but may or may not have died. First book great. 2nd one not. here's hoping for redemption with the 3rd! I'm honestly surprised that Wil actually read this. He must have been contractually obliged to.

Incredible!

In my honest review of Where the hell is Tesla I gave it four stars. I felt like it was very light and silly and that very little of it would stick with me. This book however is the complete opposite. Though it's short, it's full of heart, real humor, and philosophical offerings that will leave me thinking about it for some time. This is the book that should have had a sequel! I cannot recommend it enough! Also, I generally don't like when authors narrate their own books. they usually aren't talented in both areas. I felt that way with Tesla, but Dirks really did a fantastic job on this one. I don't think even Wil Wheaton himself could have done any better.

Silly Fun

A very light, silly, ridiculous book with very little significance or weight to it, but you gotta love Bobo! It had some fun moments, and in all fairness I think it's exactly what the author was aiming for. I couldn't help but think of Trump during the part about orange men in diapers. Lol!

This really just was not that good of a book. Luke Daniels was terrific as usual, but compared to recent audible books like All Things Bestowed by Joshua Gayou it was just nonsense. I'll be returning it.

This is a good book, but...

The premise is fantastic, and Ray Porter does an amazing job with the narration. That being said I couldn't help but feel like it was a bit rushed. It was much too short for my liking and could have had soo much more detail. There is hope in that it seems like there will be more books to come in the series. I just hope they are much longer and more detailed. Definitely worth reading though!
