Typical hypocrite hate-filled liberal
Revisado: 04-01-22
Funny to hear a zillionaire talk about his love of illegals when he lives in MAINE - as far away from the S border you can get.
The best thing about Trump is he exposed truly hate filled people like King.
King is such a bleeding heart. But yet. Never about his charity work. Never see pictures of him at soup kitchens. Nope.
Wonder who gave more to charity. King. Or Rush Limbaugh. Not even close.
King is a typical liberal. Hateful. I just hope Trump drives him truly mad in 2024.
Now that is a great story.

This detailed and persuasive study by the author of The Patton Papers was described by Patton's daughter Ruth as "an extraordinary book". It is widely considered the best biography ever written of the General, an American hero as compelling as he was complex.

Not bad

Not the most in depth account of Patton but not a bad one either. A nice over-view.

Very good
Revisado: 05-24-21
Very good story. A little slow to start. But once it gets going very good. Was nice to get some balance once and for all rather than the start forced propaganda you normally get about climate change. Have been hearing the same nonsense since the early 70s. Back then we were going to run out of oil by 1980 and we were entering an ice age. Of course nothing Happens. We just get “computer models” of what might happen. Garbage science if ever there was any.

Was great having Woody narrate. Not tons of insight into his films. Rather a good summation of his life and with that you get the insight into his movies.

Historia
At the height of the Cold War, JFK risked committing the greatest crime in human history: starting a nuclear war. Horrified by the specter of nuclear annihilation, Kennedy gradually turned away from his long-held Cold Warrior beliefs and toward a policy of lasting peace. But to the military and intelligence agencies in the United States, who were committed to winning the Cold War at any cost, Kennedy's change of heart was a direct threat to their power and influence.

It’s good
Revisado: 12-04-20
It’s good. Nothing more nothing less. Way too much Vietnam. I know it’s important to get plot but a bit too much detail. The Thomas Merton stuff felt a bit forced and then just disappeared. Not sure what his tie was other than the title. But it does paint what I am sure is an accurate picture. Just could have been done more to the point. The books insists on its self.

From iconic books like Neuromancer to blockbuster films like The Matrix, virtual reality has long been hailed as the ultimate technology. Historia
In the months and weeks before the fateful November 22nd, 1963, Dallas was brewing with political passions, a city crammed with larger-than-life characters dead-set against the Kennedy presidency. These included rabid warriors like defrocked military general Edwin A. Walker; the world's richest oil baron, H. L. Hunt; the leader of the largest Baptist congregation in the world, W.A. Criswell; and the media mogul Ted Dealey, who raucously confronted JFK and whose family name adorns the plaza where the president was murdered.

Historia
Joe Posnanski's biography of the late Penn State football coach Joe Paterno follows in the tradition of works by Richard Ben Cramer on Joe DiMaggio and David Maraniss on Vince Lombardi. Having gained unprecedented access to Paterno, as well as the coach's personal notes and files, Posnanski spent the last two years of Paterno's life covering the coach, on (and off) the field and through the scandal that ended Paterno's legendary career.

Historia
Against all odds we have made it into the last half of the 1990s. The Cold War looks solved, Arabs and Jews are talking, confrontation is on the wane. In this new harmony, one discord - what becomes of unemployed terrorists? You can bet they aren't going to retire quietly. Shunned by the Soviets, isolated by Middle Eastern realignment, one cadre hits on a scheme to jump-start the war machine. It's brilliant in its simplicity. With a single act they bring the world to nuclear boil. Jack Ryan and Dan Murray sweat to defuse a cataclysmic response.

Historia
What really happened to TWA 800? On the 20th anniversary of the crash, author Jack Cashill reveals shocking new evidence. TWA Flight 800 crashed into the Atlantic shortly after takeoff from JFK Airport on July 17, 1996, killing all 230 passengers onboard. Although initial reports suggested a terrorist attack, FBI and NTSB investigators blamed a fuel-tank explosion. But skeptics have long questioned the official story, and new evidence has surfaced that suggests a widespread conspiracy.
