Best Rapp Novel in a long time!
Revisado: 03-19-25
I think we will all enjoy this author’s stewardship of the Rapp character for years to come! His background as an army aviator and FBI agent shows through in his very credible narrative. Bravo!

A worthy ending to a great series
Revisado: 02-25-25
McCammon delivers in this satisfying ending to a wonderful series. I was pleased with the way he wrapped things up for both Matthew & Hudson Greathouse. I was also pleasantly surprised with the unexpected twists associated with Professor Fell’s character. It’s a shame this series is over and I’m eagerly anticipating McCammon’s next project.

Unrealistic sheer fantasy
Revisado: 11-26-24
The author’s absolute hatred for Trump and the millions that voted for him colors his narrative. I can accept and appreciate different points of view but the way Iles paints all Trump voters with such a broad stereotypical brush is insulting.

Thought Provoking and informative
Revisado: 09-17-24
Ask yourself: “If this subject really is much ado about nothing why all the obfuscation and roadblocks from both the Pentagon & Military Industrial Complex?”
The author’s firsthand account of some of the internal battles he had to wage on a daily basis to bring attention to this issue will leave you shaking your head with frustration. The fact that this is a bipartisan issue that now has significant language in legislation in the form of the UAP Disclosure Act by both Chuck Schumer & Mike Rounds is telling.

Historia
Award-winning investigative journalist Ross Coulthart has been intrigued by UFOs since mysterious glowing lights were reported near New Zealand's Kaikoura mountains when he was a teenager. The 1978 sighting is just one of thousands since the 1940s, and yet research into UFOs is still seen as the realm of crackpots and conspiracy theorists.

Incredibly well researched foray into the UAP phenomenon that is current and up to date by an extremely competent investigative journalist from Australia. Yes the narrator’s breathing technique was distracting but the content and sources were top notch.

Historia
Failed academic Frank Nichols and his wife, Eudora, have arrived in the sleepy Georgia town of Whitbrow, where Frank hopes to write a history of his family's old estate - the Savoyard Plantation - and the horrors that occurred there. At first, the quaint, rural ways of their new neighbors seem to be everything they wanted. But there is an unspoken dread that the townsfolk have lived with for generations. A presence that demands sacrifice.

High Brow Literature & Southern Gothic Horror
Revisado: 12-08-21
I have often heard that this author’s prose is a combination of F Scott Fitzgerald, William Faulkner, & a young Stephen King and I would tend to agree with those sentiments. For a first novel this is extremely impressive. The writing is beautiful and it is definitely one of the better lycanthrope yarns I’ve read. It’s a slow burn but well worth the wait. Enjoy!

Great performance…implausible villain
Revisado: 10-12-21
George Guidall is awesome as always in this one but I feel Kyle Mills really “reached” for a villain in this one. Given what we know about character history in this series I see the villain choice as implausible.

Historia
This work of speculative nonfiction combines meticulous fact-finding from historian/researcher Richard M. Dolan and forward-leaning scenarios from journalist/screenwriter Bryce Zabel on the world's most mind-bending subject. The authors predict radical changes after official acknowledgment that at least some UFOs are intelligently controlled craft from somewhere other than Earth.

Interesting take but lots of conjecture
Revisado: 07-15-21
This book looks at a hypothetical world post disclosure and it does cite some interesting cases in the past. This book is not investigative journalism and I should have expected that. Richard Dolan is in an intelligent man and I can certainly see some of the things he talks about possibly coming true.

Historia
The best-selling UFO book of 2007/2008 is revised and updated with even more hard-hitting eyewitness testimony of one of the most important events of all time: the actual recovery of a UFO outside of Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947. For more than 60 years, government authorities have led us to believe the wreckage was merely a very conventional weather balloon - but the witnesses who were there continue to tell a different story.
