Let down…

I loved the first book. When I found out that the second one was coming out in 6 months I was stoked. I had my alarm set and got it as soon as it was released. Paedyn is such a strong, determined, stubborn Mc and I love her for it. However I feel like in this book we became weak. I understand the author wanted to make her “human” and show her struggles with her past actions but every corner I feel like she was having a breakdown about something. The whole book was SUCH a let down. I throughly enjoy Paedyns relationship with Kai but that’s the only saving grace in the book. A lot of the emotions felt out of place for me. Overall It was BORING. Such a let down. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because I know the third book (if there is going to be one) will hopefully fix the issues with this one. Let’s hope for that. The cliffhanger at the end of this book too seemed out of place. Kit was hardly even a character in half the book and he was having his own emotional breakdown the entire time which was pathetic….and he gives us the most “gasp” in the whole book? I’m dissatisfied to say the least.

This is one of the best books I’ve read in a really long time… The slow burn between the characters, the foreshadowing on the events, and the depth on the characters really draws in. I am looking forward to the second book and cannot wait to start it

Action packed but long

I really enjoyed the third and last book of the series however, I do feel like it kind of dragged on a little bit in the middle… It was a little bit slow, and I understand she was trying to set up the story, but some parts could have been removed, and it wouldn’t have affected the story at all. I thoroughly enjoy the seriesand will probably be reading more of her other books

It reminds me a little of the hunger games as well as the maze trials. I was drawn in and I couldn’t stop. I can’t wait until reckless becomes available on audible.

Loved this series

I was a little apprehensive to start this book considering how many hours it is…especially since the first book was a little difficult to get through in the beginning, but dang am I happy I did. This book is better than the first and had me never wanting to turn it off. I found myself being pulled between Elm and his adventure and Ravyn in his and I couldn’t decided whose I was more drawn too. If you can make it through the first book being as slow as it was this one is a no brainer on getting. I loved every minute of it. The ending even wrapped up perfectly and didn’t leave me guessing or wanting in any avenue. 10/10 would recommend

Three for three

The first book got me hooked, the second kept me going and the third was worth all the wait. I loved all three books and they all have such different story lines that’s it’s not repetitive. Definitely worth the listen!

Weak Wren

So I throughly enjoyed the first book in this series and quickly jumped to get this one. And I was pretty disappointed. The story matter is great don’t get me wrong however Wren is progressively getting weaker and weaker as she finds more mates. I’m all for a damsel in distress but Wren is constantly on the verge of emotional breakdowns and it’s exhausting. I’d love for her to grow a backbone. To stand up for herself. Even her power is relatively useless and that pretty much sums Wren up. It was extremely hard for me to finish this book because of her. I won’t be continuing on in the series.

Such a shocking ending

I cannot wait for the next book to come out! I really want audible to get on it because I can’t wait! I love this book so much and is an amazing extension of the series. The middle was a little bit dull but if you can get through it, it’s definitely worth it.
