It’s not often I’m impressed by the story and narrator of late. However, this is one such story I finished this in one day only to realize that book two isn’t out… and that’s my only complaint. Book two please!

Recently I’ve read quite a few books from audible of pitying quality, this isn’t one of them. Robust well developed characters, with a well defined story line and last but by no means least one of the best narrators in the business puts this book in the category of “can’t put it down”. Pick up this volume you won’t regret it.

That’s all incredibly tempting when living among the wild things. Where there are people though, there are complications, including the murder-y kind.

I understand what some of the reviews mean by slow, however the situation is different. In the first book he’d just arrived on the new world he needed to catch up fast… here he’s learning about the people and the world he now lives in. I’m enjoying the story and feel the author has a few surprises in store for his fans.

As an RPG fan I can honestly say this isn’t like the usual storyline told, it’s interesting the way the author mix’s game-lit RPG and “normal“ human behavior in such a way that’s believable and strengths the main character. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series…

The dramatics of the story line and music wasn’t the best. However, it made the story deeper more interesting.
The character building was excellent they made me want to respond to the story like I was watching tv… that got me a few strange looks.
