The premise of this tale is beyond ridiculous. Precisely as Moriarty says, the case has absolutely no basis in logic. Holmes would have seen it at the first glance. And to think that he would consider Moriarty guilty on the basis of his handwriting is just trash.

Holmes would have seen all the logical faults in the prosection's argument from just reading the paper. And to assume that he would consider Moriarty guilty just on the basis of his handwriting is insupportable. Garbage!

A thrilling story. Very believable main character, a jockey of impressive resources and strength of character. The book has got everything: horse races, great depictions of people, conversations that will transport the listener into the story. Grit and quiet resolve. I loved this performance very much!
