Historia
It is difficult to find another soldier's story to equal Captain Darrell Watt's in terms of time spent on the field of battle and challenges faced. Even by the lofty standards of the SAS and Special Forces, one has to look far to find anyone who can match his record of resilience and valor in the face of such daunting odds and with resources so paltry. In the fight, he showed himself to be a military maestro. After 12 years in the cauldron of war, his cause slipped from beneath him, and Rhodesia gave way to Zimbabwe.

Historia
There have been many books - on a large and small scale - about Steve Jobs, one of the most famous CEOs in history. But this book is different from all the others. Becoming Steve Jobs takes on and breaks down the existing myth and stereotypes about Steve Jobs. The conventional, one-dimensional view of Jobs is that he was half genius, half jerk from youth, an irascible and selfish leader who slighted friends and family alike.

This book is part of Jack Stack and Darren Dahl’s series on Changing the Game of Business (not sure they refer to it as such). I wish I had discovered this concept before I ruined my 3rd company. After 2 successes I assumed the 3rd would be fine. It wasn’t.

I never give 5 stars across each category. Perhaps this book touched me right where I am in life. I encourage everyone who has struggled against great obstacles or who has strategically avoided great obstacles to read this book and apply the authors structure. Each of can can move out of the grand company of the mediocre to fulfilling smaller company of a life well-lived.
