This is another great installment in the series. The banter between the characters is always entertaining. This story sees Clyde maturing in his decisions but also stays true to his character. He realizes he can’t act irrationally because he now has a family he wants to protect.
Spoiler: I have been waiting for this ending ever since this series started. The near misses of the two in the past books have been driving me crazy. I was also upset that Shay was killed like that but glad to find out that was not the case. I thought the new female character was introduced to replace her. Well played.

I like how the chapters continue from the first book. This book is setting up a big story arch. I hope it will maintain the momentum and quality so far.

Voice of character is trying too hard.

It’s not a bad story. Not a big fan of narrative sex and there was a a bit skimming of that. The read is fine but there’s something off about how they interpreted the main character. Hope it’s fixed in the next book.

The sex is not needed

This was a new take, at least for me, on the old tales. I was hoping to get a great story without the sex details. The one thing that’s really messed up the fun. Love the sci-fi and action but then the sensual parts ruins the flow.

After waiting for book, I am disappointed with the ending. This book was a nice listen, but I am guessing, after the long wait, I expected more. This is the great to be continued but not an end.

The series up to the end was great. Loved the fire scene near the end. The way this book was ended left 1 persons fate unresolved and the rest, somewhat of a waste. At least that’s my subjective opinion.

Satisfying end

This book, I would have to agree was quick, heroes got overpowered, and seemed like the author was done with the series.

That being said, I would rather they finish the series than leave it open. There are ways to revisit the story if they wanted. I would have liked it a bit longer since there was a lot to cover. That is the problem that the author needs to commit to. Overall, it’s a good one.
