Historia
Did I think I was going to fall for my coach's daughter? The answer would be no. I'm still unclear on how I got into this predicament in the first place. A year ago, I was a man with one thought on his mind, the redhead I met at a hotel bar. Twelve months later, I found her. Unfortunately for me, she not only happens to be my very off-limits coach's daughter, but also . . . my new assistant and roommate.

Sound editing is terrible
Revisado: 11-20-24
It’s porn with typical corny dialogue. The sound editing is terrible. You have two people having a conversation and one of them is shouting and the other one is whispering so that you constantly have to adjust the volume. DNF

Close to good, but needed more rewrites
Revisado: 03-20-24
Too many wrong notes in this one for me. There’s some very strange dialogue between cop and suspect that just wasn’t believable. Also not believable was an arson investigator forgetting to look for evidence inside the trash cans of the house that burned. The narrator should review the book before reading so she can familiarize herself with the pacing and vocabulary. There are too many instances where she runs out of breath before the end of a sentence or pauses in a strange place.

Riveting. Not the ending I hoped for
Revisado: 08-08-23
Riveting story about the cycle of abuse and the long term effects of captivity. The ending was initially unsatisfying for me, but I will continue to ponder it.

Revisado: 07-25-23
I’ve enjoyed the Rachel Hatch series, so I thought I would try this one as well. I’m very disappointed. This is just another lame tale about inept law enforcement officers. No thanks

Had promise but didn’t deliver
Revisado: 06-09-23
The murder mystery part of the story was decent, but the struggling writer and best friend storylines read like a 13-year-old girl wrote them. Discerning readers will be disappointed.

Fun Read!
Revisado: 05-18-23
I really enjoyed this story. There were a couple of things the editor should’ve caught. If Ellison is left-handed, why would she hold a gun in her right? And I find it hard to believe that if she just changed the locks on her house that she would have time to distribute new ones to 8+ people. No matter, I look forward to the next installment!
