What started as a great listen quickly devolved into a sick and twisted story and not in a good way. The twists in the story are actually lies perpetrated by the author. Pathetic storytelling. What a waste of time and money.

I really wanted to listen to this book, but because the narration was so awful I couldn’t get past it. The breaths / gasps of air between words was so annoying, and the voice sounded much older than the character… I’d pass on this audio version… perhaps read instead.
