Historia
Many Christians find themselves mired in past regrets or future fears, but the name of God itself reminds readers that God wants them to live in the present. The more readers understand and apply God’s I AM statements from the Old and New Testaments, the more they will realize God’s peace and joy. Then they will be free to live, serve, and know God more richly in the present tense—which is just where He wants them to be.

An easy read as is common with this author. I couldn't put it down. Chapter after chapter speak to the topic of Jesus in our lives.

Faith is essential; dreams are born in the heart of God; the force of Heaven shifts the sands of circumstance in our favor and makes our dreams come true. These truths are seen in the lives of Abraham and his great-grandson, Joseph.

Couldn't Get Enough
Revisado: 01-15-21
Let me give a disclaimer that the author and I are acquaintances.
I listened to this book six times. Why? It discusses favorite sections of scripture I ponder over often. Also, the way Joe writes extracts more meaning for the reader or listener. He makes you think deeper into the Word and it's power.
I hope you will check this out. It's a short read and a powerful read.
The narrator's voice is quite easy to listen to which only adds to the enjoyment.

Historia
Seeing rightly, says Mark Labberton, is the beginning of how our hearts are changed. Through careful self-examination in the Spirit, we begin to bear the fruit of love toward others. Here is a chance to reflect on why our ordinary hearts can be complacent about the evils in the world, and how we can begin to see the world like Jesus.

Good Reader
Revisado: 01-14-20
The reader had a voice that kept my attention which was good in that the middle of the book's content made it difficult to listen.
The author kept my attention in the beginning with some solid theological thoughts I could agree and follow
However, the middle of the book was filled with the author's opinions in cultural matters, world views, and US politics. He completely left the Word of God out of the middle of this book.
He brought it back at the end with more sound theological thoughts yet now I need to go back and listen to it again though at a later time to make sure his theology is sound given his thoughts on worldly matters instead of Kingdom matters.
Overall, I did enjoy the read and the listen. I have no regrets to having purchased this title and might consider reading another of his offerings.

Another Excellent Book in O'Reilly's killing series
Revisado: 01-09-20
I served in the U.S. Air Force from 77-81. A lot of this book speaks to that era so this book was more personal for me as I related to much of it.
At times this book brought me to tears and at other to anger.

Historia
More than a million listeners have thrilled to Bill O'Reilly's Killing Lincoln, the can't-stop-listening work of nonfiction about the shocking assassination that changed the course of American history. Now the anchor of The O'Reilly Factor recounts in gripping detail the brutal murder of John Fitzgerald Kennedy—and how a sequence of gunshots on a Dallas afternoon not only killed a beloved president but also sent the nation into the cataclysmic division of the Vietnam War and its culture-changing aftermath.
