narrator did no homework and mispronounces

the narrator does a good job overall but he clearly didn't do any research and he mispronounces Spanish left and right
... badly.
it's not like the book is in Spanish, just periodic Spanish words once in a while. what a lazy guy. he could have literally looked up the 10 or 15 words that they use over and over so you can at least say them right. Very unprofessional.
the book is really well written although they spend a little too much time going on and on about infectious disease. And on, and on, and on. Like, we get it.
I would still say that this is pretty exciting at times and worthe the listen or the
read.

Nice insight from someone who personally hung out with high Smith and the narrator is amazing! I love her voice for Pat! And I especially loved the stories when they were over on cherry island and Fire Island and stuff partying it up and so forth great great book!8

what a beautifully detailed description of a very powerful and life altering experience! I loved the way she hits home with how we can draw from our "whole self" and feather that into our seemingly very real experience on this 3rd dimensional exsistance here on earth. A wonderful narrator as well. I found if I slowed the tempo of the narration down just a bit, I could grasp more fully all the concepts that were being described and presented. Enjoy!

much better than the movie

look, Smith is a very good writer. His ability to go into great detail, dense sentences and paragraphs, is amazing. Is almost so good that the story takes second seat to the rich characters and environments. that said, this Buck is very high concept. He executes this original world quite well but how about since I saw the movie first a few years ago, I just couldn't get the silly computer generated by inside of my head during his description of how they attack, the things they saying do, Etc
I guess it just seems kind of laughable to me. But that's only because I saw the movie I think. I would probably write this movie hire you if I could but my experience was three stars. If I hadn't seen the movie I would bump it to four stars. I hardly ever allow myself to see a movie first but my friend worked at the studio that made it back in the day so I saw it because he had done something on it. The movie was trash.

amazingly detailed writing but forced throughout

look, this was a good read. I read it in three days. Well, I listened to it, LOL. That said, it is highly detailed, Force, kind of silly and ridiculous. But, it was fun and I definitely recommend it if you are looking for something they will keep you highly engaged. Smith is clearly a good writer but I feel like there was a lot of fat hear that, as a writer myself, I would have hoped my editor would have chopped right out of there. It was style at times but, at others, it was just blah blah blah.

I absolutely love this book it has completely changed my view on a lot of old concepts of regarding "life" and "death". I highly recommend this book to those who are on the path of conscious awareness. enjoy!
