Historia
Nine out of 10 churches in America are either declining or growing slower than the communities in which they are located. Stated simply, 90 percent of American churches are losing ground in their communities. Change is not an option; it is an urgent need. We don't change our doctrines and biblical foundations, but we do change our methodologies and approaches for this rapidly changing culture.

The best Napoleonic book yet
Revisado: 12-10-21
I've read all the Sharpe novels and all the Aubry/Maturin novels - 45 in all - plus the preceding Hornblower books. This one had me riveted! The single ship duel is incredible... if you can follow what's happening. It's not for beginners. Do some reading about the age of sail first and then buckle up!

Jay Rubenstein brings medieval characters and battles to life giving me both a deeper understanding of the subject but also a greater love for the topic. Written with both detail and clarity, I appreciate that he can make himself understandable to an amateur history buff like me.

This is a great book. For an old Puritan, it is easy to consume in audiobook form. Yet, I actually got the kindle book for a dollar and followed along.
