Most of the chapters (like CBD, credit cards, etc. do not apply to my case. a simple intro, telling what chapters devoted to what readers, would eliminate unnecessary time waste.

Though I disagree with several major ideas and conclusions of this book, I enjoyed tremendously the flowchart approach and user friendly philosophy the author presents. It will definitely become one of top 10 books I've read in last several years!

Solid Instructional Aid

In contrast with most of the instructional How-to audiobooks, this one is not overloaded with references to different URL or other sources you can not physically capture while walking or driving. Jean Bauhaus stated in the very beginning that all the references are listed on her website and this is very true. I would like to have a guideline of what chapter I should go to, depending on my stage of writing or publishing. Or at least to have the titles of the chapters in the table of content. Otherwise, it is a good book, matching the promises of its title and I recommend it to all "green" authors.

The book has some good material, but long comparisons and examples "IS - SHOULD BE" are absolutely not for the audio format. If not for the last two chapters, summarising the tips and techniques I would give just one star. The hard copy, in contrast, might be interesting aid material for the writer.

This audiobook has the problem, common to a lot of read aloud instructions: it had not been edited for the listeners. Many references to the web links are absolutely useless for those who listen while driving or walking. But it gives you an overall picture of the publishing process and options if you are patient to listen to the whole thing.

A lot of general words from an author, who is not experienced enough to teach. Certain bits of advice (like pricing) is just incorrect: for example, you price your product not based on what you want to make, but on what the clients are ready to pay. The narrator with her British accent is pretty charming and convincing.

Great retalling a potentially boring legal case.

Loved it. Have to confess: Googled E. Holmes & story after the first chapter. I have to give John Carreyrou a full credit for his attempts to keep it inpartial, taking into consideration all he, personally had to go through. One piece I think is still missing (in epilogue or elsewhere): despite E. Holmes' pitfalls & wrongdoings, she triggered major new initiative, which, I am sure, will eventually become a reality. I hope she will get some credit then.
