Nothing matters more than the heart, alas so long it has taken me to understand and value this core truth of the gospel.

This book and its clear and unmistakable message is what in my opinion scores of so-called Christians are completely oblivious to. The doctrine of imputation alone is so clearly explained and the consequences of it are so strong and vast that it simply dispenses with the nonsensical notions of a God whose laws we can simply dismiss willy-nilly and live on without consequences.
Its true that this book is not ear candy. Still I would not pass up the incredible blessing of listening to this book. It is specifically aimed at the reader who really longs for a deeper understanding of things Holy from the scriptures. The chapters deal with such serious and weighty matters as how God's covenant with man, Adam's federal headship and what the consequences of his sin mean to mankind, the imputation of his failures to all of us (In Adam we died), the fatal consequences, and the enormity of the depravity of man, that it takes time to absorb and humble introspection to truly understand the incredible wisdom which is being dispensed. This is not a quick listen nor is it intended to be.
I point out that the writer makes this book a very pleasurable listen, his tone, accuracy, and smooth flow basically make the spoken contents come alive and help me focus on the topics at hand. His narration is about the best I have listened to during my 10+ years of Audible membership. If I could get all my books recast into his voice, I would probably listen more and finish many more books I started.

Finally, say what you will about AW Pink, he is an amazing teacher of the one and only truth; His many years of disciplined and devoted studies in the scriptures have illuminated his understanding in so many areas in the Word that he leaves you speechless and in awe of the one true God, and Jesus Christ his only begotten Son. We are enormously indebted to him.

Wonderful instruction for those who want to learn!
AW Pink expounds where few dare thread, with clarity and wisdom. withe most beautiful ending:

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelations 20:10

Although the book is slow in the beginning, it truly picks up and gets to the Fundamental truths of the struggle brought upon unwitting Americans. It now all makes so much more sense! As Dr. Gorka mentions in his book: The war for America’s soul, a must read in my opinion. This book, Righteous Indignation is another must read book in order for any American to know exactly what we are up against as a nation, how much we have fallen, and what is truly at stake.

If anything this book spurs me on to further research, further learning and further equipping myself and helping those who care to see what is truly going on in the war for America’s soul; A fight must win without any equivocation, to the death. Period. Full Stop.

Finally someone strong enough to call the hoax!

In this amazingly well documented book, Dr. MacArthur confronts, once again, the God dishonoring practices of the Charismatic movement that so dishonors God and His true Church. He traces the roots of this deception back to the beginning 1900's an backs it up with irrefutable proof.

This strong medicine is what we need in an age of cowardly political correctness! This is what needs to be shouted from the rooftops. This is what all true evangelicals should accord with and in lockstep affirm. Instead the prophets of Baal are allowed to continue in the name of "love"... Not confronting is not love, it is cowardice.It is high time we heard it straight.

As Dr. MacArthur puts it: Are we to dishonor our heritage? What about the Reformers, what about the Puritans, what about the martyrs? Hebrews 12:1 Therefore since we also are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses...

Chapter 12 is my favorite chapter of the entire book, Dr. MacArthur lovingly confronts the Continuationists with their folly and the fact that they're essentially aiding and abetting the enemy by giving credence to those who should have a long time ago been discarded due to their false so called prophecies. It is time for the church to mature and get past every wind of doctrine.

The reader's voice is sometimes a bit overwhelming, but the book is still very easy to follow. I would have preferred Dr. MacArthur to read it as he does most of his other books.

If I could give this book a hundred stars, I would. You owe it to yourself to read this, you will not be disappointed!

Doesn't do justice to Jan Huss!

The Book / Narration is difficult to follow, both because of the many unnecessary anecdotes included as well as the wealth of unnecessary Catholic information supplied to "embellish" the story.

During the listening I clearly perceived on innumerable occasions that the book sympathized with the Roman Catholic system and it proponents; a system which persecuted and murdered this saint of God.

The narrator rattles on making it extremely painful to follow. On repeated occasions I was forced to replay sections, which remained obscure even after re-listening to them!

Yet I came away with a very deep respect and immense admiration for Jan Huss which was in no wise attributable to either the author, nor the narrator!

This admiration is attributable to the golden facts of this pre-reformation shining star; which no manner of abstruse writing, neither painful narration is able to obscure.

To me Jan Huss is an incredible christian who wrestled with evil and all used by the devil to cajole and confound him. Yet he overcame under these most difficult and painful and solitary circumstances: He never abjured the Reformed teachings and helped establish the basis of Reformation doctrines which have benefited multitudes of Christians even to this day.

He is an absolute Hero. He is someone who for his day and age was incredibly brave; one who loved the Word of God, to the point that defied the entire popish system and fearlessly defended Scripture in the manner that Wycliffe, Knox and others did.

He deserves to have his life story told much more clearly and succinctly and defended in light of all he suffered for Christ; even unto death.
