Historia
As a highly respected pollster for corporate and Republican clients and a frequent television talk show guest, Kellyanne Conway had already established herself as one of the brightest lights on the national political scene when Donald Trump asked her to run his presidential campaign. She agreed, delivering him to the White House, becoming the first woman in American history to manage a winning presidential campaign. Who she is, how she did it, and who tried to stop her is a fascinating story of personal triumph and political intrigue that has never been told…until now.

I really,really tried
Revisado: 06-23-22
I promised myself that if there was ever a positive book about Old Bonespur, I would read it.
This wasn’t as much a memoir as a list of names. She lists, by name every family member, childhood friend, colleague, etc ad nauseum.
Nothing more entertaining than hearing someone read a list of 30 names of people you don’t know.
I find it interesting that every successful woman was a tomboy who had scraped knees.
After that, it was an homage to our 45th President , who never lied and kept all of his promises.
So if you like listening to lists of names and believe our 45th President never lied and kept all of his promises. This book is for you.
Oh, and if you turn the listening speed to 1.5. she sounds just like she does on television!

Historia
James A. Garfield may have been the most extraordinary man ever elected president. Born into abject poverty, he rose to become a wunderkind scholar, a Civil War hero, and a renowned and admired reformist congressman. Nominated for president against his will, he engaged in a fierce battle with the corrupt political establishment. But four months after his inauguration, a deranged office seeker tracked Garfield down and shot him in the back. But the shot didn’t kill Garfield. The drama of what happened subsequently is a powerful story of a nation in turmoil.
