Thank you, Debbie Macomber for this lovely series of books with unforgettable characters and relationships. I haven’t looked, but I hope this is not the last in the series. I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters/new friends. You truly capture the essence of details in individual characters and behaviors, connections and emotions, and life stories. ❤️❤️❤️

Strong family ties story. LOVED

I really enjoyed the relationships and learning the history as it built throughout the book. So much reality wrapped in a warm blanket. This is what I love about Debbie Macomber‘s writing style.

Her characters become my friends and her stories take me to a relatable place without overwhelming me. They are the perfect escape for a stressful life. Thank you, Debbie Macomber !

Thank you so much for making sure these stories were told! It was bittersweet throughout. I visited Graceland this past year, so being able to visualize the stories was very special. I’m sorry for your losses, Riley. I appreciated the audio approach with Julia reading Lisa Marie’s voice. These stories and memories were so special! Your mother, brother, and grandfather would be (or are) so proud! 💞

Awesome, smart mystery featuring a Woman! Highly recommend

Really enjoyed the story and locations as I have visited the door county area several times. The featured woman is so smart, love this! Loved her relationship with her dog, character development really helped engage me in the storyline, and there was enough mystery not to figure it all out fast. The audible voice actor was also incredible!

Lovely mystery - lots of interesting characters …

Really enjoyed this book and the performance. Next time I might write down the characters names and their relationships, as there are many and many generations. Loved the way it unfolded in the sense of community! I found the character. They are all talking about to be quite inspiring.

We read this in my knitting book club at the library in a tiny town, and we could all relate to the inter-relationships. I’m looking forward to reading more in this series.

Insightful, heartfelt, vulnerable, and HOPEFUL (BIG YES recommendation)

This book, and this audio by Prince Harry, was done extremely well. I am so thankful and grateful that Prince Harry did the audio recording. It felt like he was sitting next to me telling me his story, personally . He shared his whole heart with us, his unique journey of finding love, and his very special love story with Meghan. I have always respected Meghan and now I can multiply that by a million. 💝

I appreciate his stories of vulnerability throughout his life, from school with his brother, to his military experiences, to his dating experiences and desire to have a wife and family, to his counseling sessions, to describing some of his bad choices, and finally to his overall hope! ❤️ … weaving in memories of his mum too! 🌷

Learning how the British press lies and twists information was (is) beyond gross negligence and was insightful … as was how the institution works with them, and how the different offices work against each other. I vow to never click on a link from one of those disgusting rags ever again.

Learning the truth about what has happened over the years and recently, especially relating to Meghan, and trying to carve out different roles, breaks my heart. I will remain hopeful with Harry that things will turn around one day. These two are a gift to, not only the UK, but to the world … just like his mum! ❤️ THANK YOU for this special book! ❤️

WONDERFUL Author read book - hopeful, inspirational, motivational

I bought this book for my mother as it was one of her last requests in life. She didn’t get to read it but Michael Strahan “was her guy.”

So it was bittersweet reading it without her but it made me feel her presence.

This was a wonderful story of Michael’s entire life. We learn about his family, growing up, getting married, having children, and learning how to actively be happy. We learn about his incredible drive toward excellence and the impact the nickname, “Bob” had on his entire life.

I decided to listen on audible and really enjoyed that he was the voice. He did a wonderful job and made me feel like he was talking directly to me and telling me stories. I also have the book and it makes me happy seeing it on myself. I love being able to refer back to his song lists and general lessons.

I will be reading this again and again throughout my life. Thank you so much Michael for taking the time to write this thoughtful book.

EXCELLENT Author read, wonderful story and learning!!!

I highly recommend this book for multiple reasons. First it is written in read by the incredibly talented Sunny Hostin. I love it when authors read their own books for us to listen to.

Sunny takes us on the journey of her life. We learn about her family, how she grew up, where she grew up, and the struggles and wonderful bits about growing up half Puerto Rican and half black. Her honesty about her thoughts and feelings throughout the book were so appreciated!!! I laughed out loud and cried literal tears and felt her happiness in pain. I really enjoyed her writing style.

Learning about her career and all the incredible experiences she’s had give me insight and appreciation to the strong wonderful woman she is today on The View. It was not an easy path by any means. She had to fight and stay focused at every step. Even learning she did not have a formal welcome to The View (or the dressing room situation) made it clear … things like this are still happening today, even with such a reputable and diverse show.

Thank you so much, Sunny, for your heartfelt, vulnerable story, inviting personality and honesty. Please keep writing! … I absolutely loved Summer on the bluffs the first time I read it and then created a little book club with my best girlfriends to read it again. I want to know what’s next in the lives of the girls.

Please please please keep writing fiction and nonfiction!

Wonderful read (& re-read) then go visit the Annex

We were on our way to go visit her Annex in Amsterdam, so found this book bittersweet to re-read. What a sweet story in a horrible situation. She was insightful and real. I'm grateful to be able to read about her thoughts and experiences, from the perspective of a young girl on her path to growing up! I'm still sad she didn't make it!
