Historia
On a day that begins like any other, Hal receives a mysterious letter bequeathing her a substantial inheritance. She realizes very quickly that the letter was sent to the wrong person - but also that the cold-reading skills she's honed as a tarot card reader might help her claim the money. Soon, Hal finds herself at the funeral of the deceased...where it dawns on her that there is something very, very wrong about this strange situation and the inheritance at the center of it. Full of spellbinding menace and told in Ruth Ware's signature suspenseful style, an addictive thriller.

I routed for Hal the entire time! The major twist with the photo album caused me to literally drop my jaw! I was shocked! I literally was telling her to "get out!" and screamed "ED" lol I loved it and will be impatiently waiting for Ruth's next release.

Historia
Cass is having a hard time since the night she saw the car in the woods, on the winding rural road, in the middle of a downpour, with the woman sitting inside - the woman who was killed. She's been trying to put the crime out of her mind; what could she have done, really? It's a dangerous road to be on in the middle of a storm. Her husband would be furious if he knew she'd broken her promise not to take that shortcut home. And she probably would only have been hurt herself if she'd stopped.

Loved It
Revisado: 02-04-18
Where does Winter rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I enjoy Winter as much as the others in the Lunar Chronicles.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I love how each of these books have gone in to more detail about the characters and I really enjoyed seeing Winter's perspective.
Which character – as performed by Rebecca Soler – was your favorite?
Winter. It's amazing how small and delicate she made her seem just with her voice.

Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.
