Not for a serious reader and listener.
Revisado: 10-28-18
The content is far stretched and at times irrelevant. It’s good those who are Ken in story telling . Too slow and and annoying. Distracts one from concentrating.

Historia
The Bhagavad Gita, "The Song of the Lord", is the best known of all the Indian scriptures, and Easwaran's reliable and accessible version has consistently been the best-selling translation. Easwaran's introduction places the Gita in its historical setting and brings out the universality and timelessness of its teachings. Chapter introductions give clear explanations of key concepts in that chapter.

Repetitive ! Over Stretched
Revisado: 10-22-18
It appears to me that the the chapters are repeated twice or even three times. Thus, affecting the credibility of this celestial song and saga ! Disappointing !

Historia
Tantra Illuminated takes the listener on a fascinating journey to the very heart of original Tantra: its key teachings, foundational lineages, and transformative practices. Since the West's discovery of Tantra 100 years ago, there has been considerable fascination, speculation, and more than a little misinformation about this spiritual movement. Now, for the first time in the English language, Tantra Illuminated presents an accessible introduction to this sacred tradition that began 1,500 years ago in the far north of India.

Tantric knowledge

Subjectively Explanatory. Not Authoritative.
Revisado: 10-18-18
The author and narrator has studied Tantra, its origins and philosophy. However, he remains on the periphery all the time. It was highly recommended to me along with his other book Recognition Sutra ( Pratibhijnana Hrydyam ). Both these books throw an interesting light from a westerner's view point but remain far from the reality of this ever so illusive philosophy that stresses on seeker's active and arduous journey into it. In any case, my compliments for ChrisWallis' efforts to explore this highly regarded but misunderstood way of life by many.
