I loved this book. It was recommended to me by a friend when she found out I’m into powerlifting. I really enjoyed every part of this book. I seriously wish it was longer and he talked more about how he got into the strongman sport. I wish he didn’t just stop there.

Could barely get past first chapter

I had such high hopes for this book. I saw it all over my social media with other friends saying it’s so awesome. I just can’t relate to anything the author talks about. Not for me.

Great book! (A note for working women)

I’m a working mom. Now this book doesn’t necessarily encourage working moms, like the Latter-day Saint faith, it encourages women to stay at home and raise children during their younger years. I have tried that and it flat out is just not a good dynamic for me and my family to be a SAHM. This book helped me discover a balance between working my part time job and raise my children. It helped me discover exactly what I wanted: how to balance being a working mom with staying on top of my business as a business owner. I’ll be implementing the no working or thinking of work after a certain time of day, we already implement the no business whatsoever on Sundays, and it encourages me to continue praying and working with my Heavenly Father.

The only “con” of the book is it seemed like some of the sentences were cut off before they were finished. Idk what was going on in the audio but it sounded a little funny.

Overall, a fantastic audio book and I bought the paperback version so my husband could read it too.

Definitely for beginners.

If you’re a beginner to the fitness world, then this book will be a great resource for you! A lot of good information.

I am not a beginner, I’ve been weightlifting for several years now so there wasn’t much new to learn in this book. That’s why the low rating. If you’re an advanced lifter, go elsewhere.

Worst Narrator

This book is informative and has a lot of helpful information. The person reading the books sounds just like Siri/Alexa and it’s so hard to listen to.
Read the physical copy instead.

Decent Thriller

The ending is HORRIBLE!!!

Chloe and Helen escape and Sebastian just dies by being run over by his Audi?? And the women just shout for each other??? What’s happened after that?? Did they stay friends? Did they go to therapy?? I wanna know more!!!

So many people raved

I’ve seen this book on social media and have seen people raving about it. It was a pretty boring book with just enough of a hint of interest to keep me listening to the end.
Overall 3/10 would not read again.
