Hard to get through, but pays off.

By design the main characters are insufferable. Ultra leftist tech know-it-alls that think a green, natural life means delivery drones and composting.
I wanted these annoying characters to be eaten sooner, rather than later.
The primary narrative device is the voice of the main character told through her endless new age journal entries.
it was really hard to get through to the point of the story, but it was satisfying when the bigfoots murdered everyone.

Pretty seriously sick in some places. Not bad, but be ready for some very extreme descriptions of sadistic horror and human suffering.

This classic deserves better

Strange changes in narrator.

Excellent book of course but it is undone by strange and incongruous changes in performance. From one chapter to the next the voice of a main character will change from the primary narrator to another actor and back again. It's almost like 2 - 3 versions of audiobooks have been cobbled together into this version.
