An event planner desperate to prove himself. A CEO with sky-high dreams. The grand opening that brings them together. Dean is the man behind the Blue Star Resort in Castle Harbor. He’s delighted to see his dreams become a reality - even if it means hiring a local to work with his star planner. Despite their friction, Dean can’t help but have eyes for the new arrival. Wyatt left town a long time ago, only to return when hired on for the impressive job of opening the resort. It’s the sort of thing that only comes along once in a lifetime. Just like the CEO of the company.

Dean & Wyatt’s Last Resort
Revisado: 11-04-19
Dean and Wyatt’s last resort was to face all the odds only to learn they were destined to be with each other; through the good and the bad of times. Each utilizing their strengths which the other needed, then when times warranted each one lifted the other and carried him through the darkness and into the light.
This was a great story and addition to the Castle Harbor series by J. P. Oliver. The narrator was very good at expressing the story in a way that the story intended!
I highly recommend reading this story and all the books in this series!

Historia
Zachary is a brilliant architect, considered to be an artist on blueprints. When the chance of a lifetime comes along, he can’t say no to it. Even if it means running a handsome, young stranger into the ground to succeed. Lucas is the reserved owner of Castle Harbor’s only lodging - an inn left to him by his parents. His temper flares when he hears rumors of a resort coming to the island. Yet, when he meets the architect behind the plans, those flames become a sizzle that he can’t ignore. The business proposition that could destroy them...or bring them closer than ever.

Luke and Zack Making Plans
Revisado: 10-27-19
This was a sweet, loving and well written story. Making Plans is book 2 in the Castle Harbor series and revolves around Zack and Luke.
Zack is coming in on the premise of making life better by building up Castle Harbor in conjunction with his boss and their company.
This is originally unknown to Luke, who owns the B&B. Both Luke and Zack meet and sparks fly in many ways.
I recommend this great story and advise you get it to learn what finally happens to Luke, Zack and Castle Harbor!

Historia
Is it wrong to be attracted to the groom in a wedding? Or, I thought he was the groom! No, this guy is open and single and...into me? Is he into me? He'd be the first for quite some time. I have to admit, seeing all these weddings come and go can be a bit much when you go home all by yourself. But is it ethical to date a client's brother?

A wedding of a lifetime.
Revisado: 09-22-19
J P Oliver wrote an interesting story that is so different from all other books I have read. The Bride's Brother was a great book with twists and turns that kept me, the reader, on my toes and focused on what was happening. When you thought you understood where the characters stood, you later learned it was not as originally portrayed.
Toby, the bride's brother was a good man who took his job as a wedding planner seriously. His partner in business, Hal, was a young, energetic young woman who knew when to take chances that helped the newly formed business that Toby started.
Toby was a guy who had morals, and even though he never met his soul mate, he would never sell himself out morally or physically (physical needs).
In comes this very affluent and rich couple who want their wedding planned. Julia and Hunter were an interesting pair in Toby's eyes but his opinion was irrelevant and he kept that to himself. It ends up Hunter began making advances on Toby, who liked what he was looking at but was angry that this jerk was flirting with him while making wedding plans with his fiancee. Or so Toby thought....was Hunter The groom or was David?
The story was really good. I enjoyed this book tremendously. I found a small portion confusing to understand, but due to the flow of the storyline and the rapid nature of the journey the small things were minor and easy to overlook. One example is if you do extensive research on someone, I know you can have a "brain fog" and forget some minor things but it normally it comes back to you quick enough if you truly did research a subject.
The Epilogue was the best I have read to date. This book keeps you on your toes right up to the very end. I highly recommend this book for it is enjoyable, keeps your interest throughout and had very hot sexual scenes that were sizzling with heat and passion.
Narration: The narrator was good but I felt his narration, at times, did not flow with the storyline. The words were spoken but not said in the manner of what the story was telling the reader.

Caleb and Ethan, worth trying!
Revisado: 09-22-19
This was a cute story involving a father, his kids and a nanny. The story was interesting and captured the attention of the reader with chapters ending with one character at a interesting state, picking up with the other character’s intention or state of mind. There were no precipices to speak of but a sweet, (sometimes hot, hot sexual encounters), loving story of true love and friendship.
Narration was well done. The narrator changed voices at appropriate times to indicate each character. The narrator was expression able when called for. Great narrating!

When my old high school teammate invites me to stay on his family farm, it’s the solution to my financial woes. I never imagined it might also be the answer to my loneliness. Allen Hale Jr wasn’t the first number I tried for help. It’s been years since I’ve even thought of him. But he answered on the first ring, and hours later, we’re still talking like we’re 16 again, goofing off after the big game.

Kyle Robbins and AJ Hale are Cuntry Boys
Revisado: 07-14-19
The story was sweet, interesting and absolutely spicy! It meets my criteria of an excellent book of choice.
There was a few times I thought the story could have moved a little faster but other than that a great story to read.
Regarding Narration: the narrator has a great voice but I found his interpretation of AJ way off character. His impression of Kyle and Pops was ok. During the story, again, I don’t believe he captured the concept of the narration.

Historia
All Tristan’s ever wanted was to make a difference - and becoming a lawyer was the tool to make that happen. It’s easy for people to judge others without thinking, but Tristan’s seen too many innocents chewed up and spat out by the system to not fight for those who’ve been wronged. But this case? It’s not just affecting him professionally. His ethics say that he should stay far away from the victim’s family...but his heart says he should bring Upton close and never let him go.

Worth the Trouble of love and family.
Revisado: 07-02-19
This is a two part review. First will reflect the story itself. Second will be regarding the narration of the story told.
Worth the Trouble, a story about two dads who may have never interacted with one another except for the fact they were both single dads. Upton, a stay at home, single dad who is a writer by profession His son Carter, a vibrant young boy, who loved his dad, who also enjoyed hanging out with his only best friend, Barney.
Tristan, a defense attorney, was also a single father to Barney, whose only friend, his best friend was Carter, whose dad was Tristan. Unlike Upton, Tristian was busy with an upcoming case; one in which involved an innocent man's wrongful conviction, and therefore would run late picking up Barney from school.
Since Carter and Barney had befriended one another; their friendship led to Upton and Tristan spending time with each other. Both men shared how they ended up single dads and the trials and tribulations of being a single dad. Upton took pity on Tristan and would have Barney over each day after school. When Upton learned Tristan was a defense attorney there was a temporary shift in this relationship for Upton had a distaste for attorneys, especially after his cousin's murderer was getting a second chance via an appeal. The friendship still manages to grow into more but Tristan knows this may only be short lived if Upton learns the truth.
After a physical relationship and bond begins Upton learns who Tristan is defending and this ends the relationship that was blossoming into love.
When the appeal trial arrives both men learn whether they had what it took to overcome the truth. This was a good story, but I found it fell short at times and didn't necessarily for the narrative. Nonetheless, it was a story I became engrossed in and enjoyed. It contains hot sexy visuals that leaves one's mouth watering and yearning to only be part of. It ends with four happy guys!
Audiobook ; this was my first audio book, and I found it was a positive attribute but I actually had to get the book and read the story after listening to the audio book in order to capture the complete picture. The narrator was good but I envisioned certain areas to be spoken different from how the narrator interpreted the section of the story. Again, the narrator has a voice worth of audio books but interpretation was slightly off, in my opinion. This is why I rated this four stara. I suggest everyone to get this book and get lost in the lives of Upton and Tristan's journey.
