Historia
The decline and fall of America's global empire is the central feature of today's geopolitical landscape, and the nature of our response to it will determine much of our future trajectory, with implications that reach far beyond the limits of one nation's borders. Decline and Fall: The End of Empire and the Future of Democracy in 21st Century America challenges the conventional wisdom of empire, using a wealth of historical examples combined with groundbreaking original analysis.

Historia
Using his legendary ability to get to the root of human potential, Napoleon Hill digs deep to reveal how fear, procrastination, anger, and jealousy prevent us from realizing our personal goals. This long-suppressed parable, once considered too controversial to publish, was written by Hill in 1938 following the publication of his classic bestseller, Think and Grow Rich. Annotated and edited for a contemporary audience by Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Three Feet from Gold coauthor Sharon Lechter, this book is profound, powerful, resonant, and rich with insight.

'Screwtape Letters' meets 'Think & Grow Rich.'
I enjoyed the theological and philosophical insights into personal achievement and success through the archetype of The Devil. The book also relates to Henry David Thoreau's 'Walden' and Ralph Waldo Emerson's 'Self Reliance' in it's introspective focus and distrust of society's institutions including the educational establishment and organized religion.
If you are interested in exploring your faith in Christ, I would recommend C. S. Lewis' 'Screwtape Letters.' If you are interested in questioning the assumptions of society, I would recommend Thoreau's 'Walden' and Emerson's 'Self Reliance.' If you are interested in personal achievement, check out Napoleon Hill's "Think & Grow Rich' and Mark Manson's 'The Art of Not Giving a ****'
