Historia
I’m a voyeur—it means I like to watch. And in my line of work, that’s a gift. As one of the four owners of the Salacious Players’ Club, I’m comfortable on the sidelines. This is what I was made to do, and I work better alone. Until the day I stumble on a certain cam girl app and find myself watching the one person I should never have watched—my stepsister. There are three big problems with this. One, Mia and I can’t stand each other. Two, she has no idea I’m the man on the other end of the video. And three…I’m hooked—on the app and on her.

Those narrators nearly ruined it
Revisado: 08-08-23
This story wasn't as believable and consuming as Praise was. I felt like there just wasn't as much character development and I found myself rolling my eyes at how unrealistic most of it was. BUT I loved Praise, the smut, and the taboo kinks so I'm definitely finishing the series.

It’s a monster with sharp claws and pointy fangs. It howls at the moon as it hunts for its next meal. Stories of werewolves have been told all around the world. Is it possible the legends are true?

Historia
The year is A.D. 922. A refined Arab courtier, representative of the powerful Caliph of Baghdad, encounters a party of Viking warriors who are journeying to the barbaric North. He is appalled by their Viking customs - the wanton sexuality of their pale, angular women, their disregard for cleanliness...their cold-blooded human sacrifices. But it is not until they reach the depths of the Northland that the courtier learns the horrifying and inescapable truth.

A True account of Ahmad ibn Fadlan!
Revisado: 07-06-22
this is a faithful recounting of a bookish traveler who becomes a hero in a company of heroes.
He recounts as an official report (upon returning home to Baghdad) how he was "blown off course" on his intended diplomatic mission and joined a group of Rus Northmen.
it's refreshing to hear their story told (warts and all) in such detail, but moreover that it is not a tale of raiding/piracy; it is a first hand account of bravery and lends careful insight into the warrior spirit of the men who came to be known as viking...

Historia
Neil Gaiman has long been inspired by ancient mythology in creating the fantastical realms of his fiction. Now he turns his attention back to the source, presenting a bravura rendition of the great northern tales. In Norse Mythology, Gaiman fashions primeval stories into a novelistic arc that begins with the genesis of the legendary nine worlds; delves into the exploits of the deities, dwarves, and giants; and culminates in Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods and the rebirth of a new time and people.

Perfect in every way!
Revisado: 02-21-22
Respectfully retold stories of the Gods! speaking as an Asatruar (modern heathen), I can say unequivocally that these are marvelous stories that more that adequately retell the (major) sagas, but somewhat more palatable for modern audiences.

I can't think of a better reader... The tenor & cadence of Andy Serkis's fine and resonant voice leave nothing to be desired. His vocal Characterizations of each character transport the reader to the mystery and austere beauty of Middle Earth.
