Gaping parts
Revisado: 02-11-17
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The story carried the suspense line consistently through the story, but dragged it out in other parts.some story lines were left undeveloped, leaving reader to wonder about them. Once the killer was identified, motive was not well articulated

Good story line, but very repetitious
Revisado: 09-10-15
Where does The Lake rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book is for the younger reader. It was very repetitious. I would rank it in the bottom half of audiobooks I've listend to so far.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Didn't really feel that there was an ending. It was almost like the chapter ended and if you wanted an ending, you had to read the next book.
Which scene was your favorite?
Layla calling her guardians aunt & uncle
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Young love conquers all

Too much duplicity
Revisado: 09-10-15
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
While the story line was decent, there was a lot of repetitivness that caused me to want to skip ahead. This is the second book in a series of 3 and all of the story line in this book could have been carried out in the 1st book. In addition, the story line is based on a never ending love of 17 year olds!
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The ending was the most interesting. The least interesting was hearing about her parents death over and over.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
Narrator was good.
Could you see Troubled Waters being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
No. too repetitious
