Historia
With constant evolution being experienced in the policing profession, the odds of successfully navigating a career from its onset to completion have become increasingly slim. Whether attributed to the complexities of modern directives, the frustrations of contradicting legislation, or the overwhelming pressures felt due to the concerted efforts of reformists, the nobility of the calling has certainly been called to center-stage.

Excellent read for everyone
Revisado: 09-11-21
This is an excellent read for both law enforcement and those that wish to understand law enforcement officers; including the hurdles and challenges faced by reality and public perception. If you are not a police officer, you will find this truly eye opening, as Tom speaks the unbiased truth without any sugar coating from a first hand perspective.

Being fooled or conned can happen to anyone. It doesn't matter how intelligent, old, rich, or famous you are. Whether you have been scammed in business, swindled out of money, betrayed by a friend, relative, or coworker, or cheated on by a spouse, rest assured you are not alone. The world is full of these most toxic people - liars. You can never be sure if people are lying until you analyze their body language, facial expressions, speech patterns, even their online writing patterns.

Save your money.

I concur with the other reviews regarding the pace of the narration and lack of pauses. It’s speed reading for sure. The content of this book is mostly unsupported possibilities at best regarding identifying liars based on body language. As someone who has spent a lifetime studying human behavior and body language, this book is incredibly disappointing as it attempts to sell unsupported “myths” as fact. At least she covered the fundamental principle of establishing a baseline.
